Great Doctor
I have been going to her for years. She has always listened and explained what she was doing. I went in for a mole and a skin tag. She removed both and gave me a look over for more issues.

Beware
Telehealth
Beware. This doctor rushes to remove moles with no consultation. I saw her to look at a bump on my cheek. She quickly moved to all body scan and 5 mole removal. She did not advise how painful and long recovery would be. She also delayed responding to my text to let her know I had a lot of pain and swelling.

Highly recommend Dr. Darling.
Dr. Darling is an excellent surgeon. She removed a dime sized Basel Cell Carcinoma from my forehead and it is not noticeable today. She is a very smart and highly skilled doctor. I trust her to make the best decisions and am very glad that she is treating me.

Made Me Feel Hideous
Dr. Darling treated me with complete contempt, disdain, and disrespect at my appointment. I asked her which treatments might be best to freshen up my skin. In response, she repeatedly grabbed the skin on each side of my mouth and mushed it together and told me that my nasolabial folds and marionette lines were so deep and pronounced that there was "no amount of filler she could dump into them" that would help. She then proceeded to point out all of my perceived flaws to me one after another (crows feet, laugh lines, forehead lines, frown lines, lip lines, etc.) only to tell me that there were no injectables available that would help any of those problems either. She also told me that other treatments, such as lasers, would either have little or no effect treating the problems that she had outlined for me. She offered me the option of a $4,000 laser treatment, but also let me know that she thought it would have minimal, if any, effect. It got much worse after that, but I'm out of words.

Worst visit with a Dr that I have ever had. Felt like she wanted to argue the moment she walked in the room. She questioned if my past diagnosis was "even from a Dermotoligist," and called me a scratcher/picker. Then said the skin test didn't matter because it wouldn't change her treatment.

Dr. Darling was rude and condescending. She seemed like she was just trying to sell me the overpriced skin care line they must carry in the office. Gave me a 30 second treatment and an outrageous bill. Would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Darling was very short and condescending. As a nurse myself she made me feel as if I was wasting her time. She spent maybe 5 minutes with me and that included the removal of a mole. She was in and out as quick as she could and my bill was over $600. I have never experienced a doctor talk down to me the way she did in my personal or my professional experiences.

My experience with Melissa Darling was poor, not even worthy of addressing her with the credentials of an MD. I would not recommend her to anyone. She waddles into the patient room and asks, "okay what are we looking at" in a noncaring tone. I show her the red marks and spots on my back and behind my upper arm and she tries to tell me they are just scratch marks from me scratching my back. She was very unprofessional. She barely performed an examination. Melissa Darling is incompetent in her field of study. I didn’t pay the $145 copay at the front desk and now I am very thankful for not doing so. She tried to tell me to pretend like this never happened and not to file a complaint against her.

She came in quickly as the nurses were giving her my background information. She didn't even listen to everything they said before she sat down, and started talking to me (which made her miss information about some of my medications). She never once touched my skin, didn't ask if I had further questions, spent no more than 5 minutes with me, and seemed rushed and completely uninterested. I'm still completely confused about what I'm supposed to be doing to help clear up my breakouts, and don't feel like I have any guarantee that my acne will improve. She had her nurse call in a prescription..or three, it was so quick and confusing that I'm not even sure what she called in, so that will all be a surprise when I stop at the pharmacy. She didn't appear to care about me as a person, or even as a patient. I would certainly not recommend her, but unfortunately, there are few dermatologists to choose from around here. I'm very frustrated and feel I wasted my money and time.

Appointment was 10:15. Didn't get to see the Dr. until 11:15 and then she was in and out in about 5 minutes. My Friend recommended her and said she listened and answered all her questions. I had the exact opposite experience. I believe she was overbooked and just wanted to get on to her next patient. From the reviews, it appears she does not treat all her patients the same. I still don't know what my problem is and I definitely would not recommend her.

I’m SO glad I saw Dr. Darling, she listened to me, my concerns, she wasn’t afraid to touch my skin, she made me feel like a friend with a skin concern, not a patient, not a number. When I asked to treat aggressively, she didn’t try to talk me out of it, she was all for it. Dr. Was personable, we had just met and talked about families, pets, etc. her bedside manner is fabulous, she made me feel SO comfortable I Will most definitely see Dr. Darling again, AND recommend her to family and friends.
