Dr. Melissa Ballengee, MD

This doctor came highly recommended but I was disappointed. I had to argue to pursue diagnostic care for chronic GI problems. She insisted it was just anxiety, despite my request being to resume the work up from a previous doctor. I left feeling frustrated and disregarded.

She is a great doctor!!! Thorough and takes time With her patients to explain findings and what the Solutions are going forward.

Saw her today. I do have to say it was easy to get an appointment. After I arrived there was no one in front of me. I was able to have no wait. The nurse took my info. This dr then came in right away. I had no wait. Explain to her what’s going on. We was able to go into an agreement. She listened to me and was a great dr. Bc pcp is like a specialist. You don’t see her but 1 to 2 times a year. I’ll see her next year. This dr dose send you to specialist she done not take care of anything! Blood work ect that’s it. You still have to see your specialist. If your insurance requires a referral you need to see her. They don’t do phone calls. You can make an appointment. Email them on my chart. They get back with you. Other than that. If you’re looking to stop going to your specialist this is the dr not for you. I am stable same medication over and over. I am forced to continue waist of my time making these special appointments when 1 dr can take care of it. Thought she would do. But no!
