Tried for 6 months to get an appointment after referral from my GP. Staff rescheduled me 4 times during that 6 months. The last time 1 hour before my scheduled appointment (I have over an hour drive to get there). Needless to say, am working to find another, even if I have to drive to Indy or Chicago.

Enjoyed my appointment with Dr. Karas. He was very informative, and positive about my health issues. Great sense of humor, patient and talked to me at my level, so I could understand. Looking forward to seeing him again in September.

Wow. This Dr is incredible. I have had thyroid issues for 16 years. Finally a Dr that listened and reacted to my symptoms. He's a gem.

I had some conditions previously diagnosed by a family doctor that we found out one condition was a misdiagnosis by the family doctor, and the other condition was not being managed very well. Dr Karas took the time to review my situation, and was more than willing to provide documentation I needed for medical certification that is required by my career. If you have an endocrine issue, please insist on seeing a specialist, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Karas!

I did a lot of research before opting for Dr. Karas and I'm so happy I did see him. I'm not from this area so not having anyone to refer me to anyone was hard. I wanted someone compassionate, that would listen to what I had to say, not be judgmental and someone I could trust. He was that man. I feel great every time I walk out of that office because I know he is treating me the way I should be treated. He is highly recommended in my book!!!

Dr. Karas did not rush to prescribe medication but instead took time to discuss the problem with me and order additional testing. I had literally zero wait time to see him once the staff checked me in. He is personable and took time to explain the diagnosis and review test results. I definitely recommend him! Only one front desk person was rude but fortunately I did not have to talk to her during my rescheduled visit.

This man is one of the most thorough doctors I have ever had. He is kind, caring, and personable. Too bad more doctors aren't like him. Too bad people in general aren't more like him. Any negatives or less then stellar ratings are due to how busy he and the entire office is.

Dr. Karas usually runs late with his appointments, but he's worth the wait. He spends time with me and really listens to me and what I want for my health. He helps me set reasonable goals and gives me tools to achieve them. I highly recommend him; he's a wonderful doctor.
