Dr. Aschenaki is an amazing doctor. She made me so comfortable and deeply listened to my concerns about my health that was not solved from my previous visits at another institute. I felt so relieved to see that such care was given to me by Dr. Aschenaki. Her huge smile was so welcoming that even though she gave me so much of her time still wanted to stay more. I thank you again for making me see doctors are still compassionate about their patients. I will recommend her for anyone who wants to be cared well with so much respect.

Unprofessional, dismissive
Saw her for the first time as a consult visit - the visit took only about 15-20 mins long. She asked me why I was sent to her, and when I explained to her, she said nothing was wrong with my heart (but the pulmonologist I saw later said I have 'heart failure w/preserved ejection fraction"). She didn't take the time to read the notes and records I provided her and I felt she was very dismissive of my concerns for possible pulmonary hypertension and heart issues. I requested to see a different cardiologist for my follow-up visit. She made me feel like I was wasting her time because I wasn't "sick" enough. I hope she doesn't treat elderly patients this way! I definitely would not recommend her.
