Never follows thru. Takes credit for things she never had anything to do with. Never returns phone calls. Has a severe superiority complex. Does not listen well and does things that are inappropriate. Stay away from this poor excuse for a medical doctor. The facility is also a poor choice.

Dr Megan Mahala Schlagman does not listen or follow through promptly and though she is generally a nice person, she is a horrible doctor. Do yourself a huge favor and see someone else. She does what she wants and disregards your needs. She engages in lying as well which destroys patient doctor relationships.

I left her old location to folllow her to the hospital. She’s fantastic and has been an amazing doctor. She’s thorough, kind, and will respond to you via MyChart almost 24/7. Yeah, she’s awkward, but I like her vibes.

No experience or knowledge on medicine, it's definitely not her 'expertise.' The 1st time I met with her, she told me I was bipolar and she refused to refill my ADHD medicine that I had been taking for 15 years. After that, I thought I had major problems, went to a psychiatrist and psychologist and they confirmed NO BIPOLAR DISORDER. Small amount of stress induced anxiety. Shamaskin would be disappointed that she took over her patients, then up and relocated to the hospital??

Hypothyroidism long term- have trialed synthetic vs porcine medication in the past. Do best on porcine medications. Schlagman, after seeing me ONCE (new doc) says she was not "comfortable" continuing to prescribe Nature Throid because "it was not standard practice". While polite she was dismissive to my needs and refused to consider any argument for continuing a medicine regime that I have done well on for years. I give her an F. She agreed to one my 3 mth script and told me find another doc
