Horrible and doesn’t care
I went to doctor renner in hopes to find someone who will look into the health issues I’ve been having and the cause of it. She dismissed everything going on and kept asking me instead if I was depressed and could “give me something to help.” I had to continue repeating myself that I’m not depressed and tried going back to what was actually going on only to be cut off. My blood test results had areas that were flagged, but she didn’t want to look into it, so I got left with concerning results and health issues. Later made an appointment with my nurse and saw that she put on my profile that I am “obese due to eating too much” this is after her seeing my history with anorexia/ charting that I’m a weightlifter so my muscle mass is what makes my bmi higher AND she told me I’m not eating enough??. This caused a relapse in my disorder and me crying my eyes out. She does not care in the slightest about her patients.

Avoid at all costs
She is literally the worst doctor I have ever been to. She dismissed and ignored all of my issues and told me I need to see specialists but no offers of referrals. I tried to explain I'd been to specialists and what didn't work in the past but she ignored me and asked if I wanted to leave the office. I was visibly a bit upset at this but did not raise my voice. I tried to let her know I had a couple other issues I would like to discuss first. She ignored these again and cut me off asking if I wanted to leave again so I did. I left her office in tears and how I was treated there will unfortunately effect future Dr's visits elsewhere because this was traumatic when just trying to seek help.

Nothing but good things to say
Start with FINALLY diagnosing my MIL with multiple myloma (after ER, other dr & Urgent care and 6 months of not helpful healthcare system) she cared enough to find out what was wrong. I now see her as well as the rest of the family. Recently husband had a cancer diagnosis and she has been extremely helpful navigating this journey.

AVOID
Dr. Renner was NOT helpful. She rushed through our appointment (that I waited 4 months to have), did not address any of my concerns, and was honestly just rude. She referred me to 3 different specialists instead of taking time to help me manage my health. Definitely do not try discussing mental health with her, she essentially told me that I could treat my symptoms behaviorally. Don’t waste your time and copay! Find a different doctor that will take you seriously.

Dr. Renner has been nothing but helpful for the last 3 years I’ve had her. Between my blood pressure issues, depression, and other random health issues I’ve had and how she’s handled them I trust her entirely with any medical decision she may make for me. I just changed jobs and I refuse to see any other doctor no matter what the cost is. I am also a “karen” when it comes to bedside manner and she is always friendly and polite as well. Thanks Dr. Renner!

Huge disappointment, appears she picks and chooses her patients. Apparent incomprehension and disinterest of men’s health issues. Seems for every problem she recommends a specialist first.

I met with Dr. Renner in December, and then called the office to ask a medication question in February. I got a letter in the mail a week later dismissing me as a patient. I'm so confused as to why - no explanation. Do NOT go to this doctor. She does not stand by her patients.

Do not under any circumstance waste your time seeing this so called Dr. She has horrible bedside manner and will only suggest that you see multiple specialists. Once you question her she will get flustered, state she feels threatened, call for someone to come to the room and shuffle out the door. She should not be practicing!!

Looking for new primary – Sep 12, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Renner?
Dr. Warhol was friendly when she first entered the room but this soon changed once I challenged one of her recommendations. She soon became flusters, irritated, and started to rush the appointment. I would say. Dr. Warhol has poor bed side manner, poor conflict resolution, and poor communication skills. On top of all of that, she kept mentioning that we were over out 15 minute appt time and that she just didn't have anymore time to see me. I would never ever see Dr. Warhol again in mud life. Visiting her would be a complete waste of your time. Despite all of this, one of the RN's named "Dot" was wonderful. I assume Dr. Warhol sent her in to talk to me after Dr. Warhol huffed and puffed while exiting. Dot took her time to help me and find other solutions and I was really appreciative of her time.

So at the first two appointments everything was great and she was very nice. Then she became kinda rude as well as her nurse. This last appointment solidified for me that I needed a new primary. She was very rude to my mother, was very upset that my appointment was taking slightly longer then 15 minutes (I was throwing up black stuff), and then sent me to the ER where after spending 200 they go I don’t know why she sent you here we don’t have any power to basically do what she said they would.

She refused to see me based solely on my med list. She sent 2 diff people in to say she won't refill my meds. I understand. I wasn't there for drugs. I had to insist to just meet her. I was a pt there 6 yrs ago & a lot has happened since. I was hoping she could update my chart, discuss alternative tx, and make referrals as needed. How can a doctor refuse to see a pt? I can't understand that which remains extremely frustrating for me. If an RN refuses care for a pt, he/she could lose RN license.
