Not Attentive
Dr. Megan Psiones was not attentive to my daughter at all. We brought my 10 year old daughter in on Friday, March 10th to see Megan, which is her pediatrician, after two days of being sick. Megan did a urine sample, strep test, and sent her on her way with the famous 'it's a virus' line. We also thought it could be a UTI because her urine sample came back all off the charts abnormal but Dr. Psiones was not concerned and said she's just dehydrated. 4 days later (7 days total being sick), she continues to get worse and has a 103.8 fever. Her fevers are steadily spiking every day on that 6 hour mark, but getting higher and worse. We gave it the 7 days because of it possibly being the flu which was not tested for. We take her back today to see Dr. Jill Howell-Berg, and she has an ear infection and pneumonia. Strongly believing the pneumonia could have been prevented or taken care of by now if she was attended to at her initial visit.
