Bad Science, Bad Bedside Mannner
Houston Eye Associates cancelled the first appointment we scheduled without our knowledge then made us wait months to get back in. Then my husband finally saw Dr. Law after Dr. Gonzales left the practice. She has horrific bedside manner and when advocating that things still seemed blurry, she didn’t care and when pushed to retest she did nothing, forcing us to get a second opinion and spend more money. My husband has ocular albinism and nystagmus, but despite “specializing” in these areas, she had zero knowledge when my husband asked about night driving which is surprising since he cannot have his eyes tested at the DMV, but must receive a note from his ophthalmologist with his vision score. Do not waste your time or money seeing this quack.

Disappointing experience
We will not be returning. My daughter's ophthalmologist from Houston Eye Associates retired, so we tried Dr. Law for a routine visit. She charged us $350 more than our prior doctor--from the same practice, with the same insurance, for the same routine visit--and we received the charge in a surprise bill 10 months after our visit. I made phone calls and wrote letters disputing the charges. Nobody responded to my letters or did anything to reduce the bill. Nobody seemed to care.

Possibly good specialists but extremely expensive. If you have no insurance and there for the first visit get ready to pay $600-$1000 for routine check up. I will not be finding out how much the second visit cost. When I was making an appointment I was told it will be about $300-$400 which I was thinking is quite expensive as it is. You can imagine my surprise when I was charged over $600. Sick to my stomach but still paid.

Not considerate of time, poor bedside with kids.
When working with pediatrics time is extremely important- little kids do not have patience when a doctor is running 1 hr behind. Also telling the parent to hold down their child because they are too squirmy when they are cranky from waiting feels like there is little awareness of how to deal with little kids. The office also has no sense of being set up for kids- no toys, open outlets, crowded waiting area. Just all around an extremely bad experience for us.

Frustrated and Disappoint Mom
She has no patience with patient with disabilities. Charged on refractory services that did not perform. Never go back and never recommend to see her.

patient care
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. When we had a problem with the prescription provided by Dr. Law, the doctor did not offer a re-check and we were offered a regular eye exam. There were no available dates for eye check for 6 months. There was no interest in solving the situation and helping us.
