Dr. Meenu Heda-Maheshwari, MD

Dr Heda is wonderful! She diagnosed my illness at the height of the covid pandemic (May 2020). She did not delay, moved quickly, and listened to everything I had told her was going on. She did bloodwork in the office, sent me for an xray same day and a ct scan next day. I ultimately had to go to the hospital as it became an emergency based on the testing and she called me to inform me of that within 1 hour of my ct scan. Once I was at the hospital, she even personally called me while I was in triage to check in as she didn't see me checked into the hospital. She most likely saved my life (cancer diagnosis). I am forever grateful!

Instead of giving bloodwork results over the phone she makes you come in for another sppt. Just recently moved and she won't refill my meds until I find a new doctor.

No, Due to her staff and their total lack of professionalism i cannot recomend dr heda anymore. This is not the staff the main st. Islip location , but dr heda personal staff on brentwood rd.. the fact that i was allowed to go without medication i have taken for 23 years( non-opiodes) in an emergency situation is beyond cruel. It caused me to have an stress related illness occur.

She is so kind! She has been my doctor for 6 years and I couldn't be happier :)
