Good doctor for me!
I have been seeing Dr. Rashtian once a year for the last 19 years. He has been helpful and supportive during that time. I have A-Fib. He has always been a solid doctor who advises me as to how to deal with an episode of fibrillation. He has been facilitative and interested in my health, but sometimes he does seem like he is in a hurry. If I ask a question, he will address it before leaving the patient room.

Maybe he doesn't like people?
My ablation went well. NO MORE flutter! But the doctor doesn't like to talk to patients. He never even entered the room at my follow-up, but talked from the hallway outside. He was a second opinion after two others in the same practice in Arcadia also did not answer questions. I would love to find a doctor like my PCP at Optum in Arcadia, who always seems excited to have a patient and shares thoughtful insights (Dr. Samuel Ho)

Office personnel made it impossible to see dr.
Scheduled appt. info was not sent to me. I was reminded by family member who was emergency contact. The family member asked me if I was going to my appt. that day. I never knew of appt. and I called office. Was informed that I had missed time and next available date was in 8 months. This is after waiting 4 month for this appt. That's 1 year after making appt.

Unacceptable! Prescribed Xarelto No Exam
Run Forrest Run! There is a deficit in communications with the attending physician and this deficit is evident in medical assistants responding to patient query, test results, and request for guidance, follow up and physician directives. The Patient Portal does not reflect updated results without repeated prompts and I was only able to secure communications through the office manager, receiving no response on the portal. The front desk personnel are unpleasant, loud and quarrelsome and fail to keep conversations at personal volume to ensure confidentiality. My attending physician was Dr. Conrad, a seasoned cardiologist certainly proficient in the advancement of cardiac electrophysiology. I was referred to Dr. Mayer Rashtian without notice, who is allegedly the "specialist" of the group, and that experience was beyond disturbing. Dr. Rashtian parades around the office rolling a large rickety computer cart barely making it through the exam room doors, failed to lift a stethoscope or exa

Worst doctor I have ever had! I felt rushed every single visit. He never explained anything thoroughly and failed to disclose my diagnosis, which I later learned from a report. His negligence has caused me many health issues.

Inserted a pacemaker. Very short with us after the surgery and said it all "went well." No follow-up offered. Ignored our requests for follow-up visits. Forgot to get the pacemaker company to set up proper monitoring. Forgot to send in paperwork required to have an MRI performed. Probably a good surgeon, but absolutely NO bedside manners and NO human concern, kindness or empathy.

Dr. Rashtian had data from multiple tests to support my form of tachycardia and it's area of origination. He was the 2nd of 3 doctors I consulted. I had a-fib with the majority of the extra electrical signals coming from the left atrium. Dr. Rashtian wanted to do a catheter ablation of the right atrium only. If I still had a-fib, he would schedule another procedure to go in again and do the left atrium. I got out of there and went to another surgeon who did it the right way... all at once.
