The BEST
Dr Reinosa is interested in his patient’s health. He resolved coughing issues I had for years. He listens, shows concern, researches and takes time to listen. I would and have recommended him.

Excellent Doctor
Dr. Reinoso is well educated, coming from Mayo Clinic and ranking high in his class. He is compassionate, personable, professional and inspires hope at achieving solutions for better health and lifestyle—even for patients with incurable diseases. He has a contagious positive attitude. He treats the patient—not just the disease. He thoroughly and patiently takes time to answer every question and teach all about the disease. He is an encourager. His nurse, Alejandra, exudes some of the same traits—compassion, professionalism, encouragement, and friendliness. She is a breath of fresh air.

The worst Dr's visit!
The worst experience! Office staff not very efficient. I went for a sinus scan and a chest x-ray and I got my test results back within a day in my email box, but never got a follow up call from the doctor to discuss my scan or x-ray! I called to see about a follow up and was told that I had to schedule another meeting with the doctor. Please note....I had to call....they didn't bother to call me! The office staff told me that it would be a month and a half before I could get to see Dr Reinoso, so don't bother to go to him....he will be too busy to see you!!!

Do not see this doctor
I have never seen a more unorganized and inefficient office staff. I never got in to see the doctor but my view is that if the office support staff is bad the doctor isn't much better.

Dr. Reinoso ordered a number of blood tests. All the blood work was covered by Medicare with the exception of four tests. Approximately 9 months after the tests, we received an invoice from Quest Diagnostics requesting we pay approximately $980. In preparing an appeal to medicare, on 3 separate occasions, I asked Dr. Reinoso to provide me with a letter of medical necessity regarding the tests rejected by Medicare. That letter was never received and consequently, an appeal was not filed. Ultimately, we paid Quest Diagnostics for the outstanding balance.

Wonderful Doctor
Dr. Reinoso is a great doctor, he diagnosed my lung problem as soon as I saw him for the first time and practically cured me when my previous doctors were not able to do so. He is very professional, he spends time listening to you carefully and makes you feel secure and that your health problems will be taken care of. In his office everyone is friendly and they would schedule your appointments at your convenience as possible. I am recommending doctor Reinoso if you need your health problem to be taken care once and for all. Cristina A.

Helped Me
I was told by another pulmonologist for several years that they could not tell me whether I had COPD or asthma. Dr. Reinoso immediately sent me to have a test done that could distinguish between COPD and asthma. From it he diagnosed mild persistent asthma. The wait times can be a little long but I believe because he takes his time with patients explaining things and answers their questions. I find his staff is very friendly.

No show
Arrived on time for appointment. Filled out paperwork I had done before and waited in front of a computer for a Zoom meeting. I was told to come in to the office but I don't know why that is necessary if it is a Zoom call. Regardless. Reinoso was a no show. Left without seeing doc

Very likely
Dr. Reinoso truly saved my life--not from death but from feeling worse and worse. I had been to a GP and two pulmonologists in the San Antonio area, doctoring for 1 year and 9 months. I had an unremitting, nonproductive cough. The local doctors kept saying it was just allergies, here are some more steroids, another z-pak, etc., etc. In fact the GP who told me I just had allergies, tore up my screening from an allergist that said I had NO allergies! I had actually gotten on the waiting list for Mayo Clinic, I was so desperate! At my first visit to see Dr. Reinoso, I opened the door to see his diplomas from Mayo Clinic. He saw me, ordered blood tests, gave me 4 prescriptions and told me to come back in 3 weeks. He discovered that one of my immune factors was low. He told me I had no choice but to take an antibiotic immediately upon getting sick. HONESTLY, he has had to give me only two more courses of medicine since that first visit 4 years ago. HE FIXED ME! I recommend him highly.

Dr. Reiniso, is incredible. Not only has he taken great care of my fathers health, but also he has given him a second chance at life. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for all of his patients. I highly recommend Dr.Reiniso to anyone searching for a pulmonary surgeon.

After reading other respondent’s evaluation of Dr. Reinoso, I concur with each one. From the onset of my hospitalization, I knew nothing regarding this Physician. When asked by Hospital Administration, Nursing Staff, Department Supervisors, and other key individuals who is the Physician treating my issues? When I mentioned his name, everyone told me I had the very best. I found Dr. Reinoso, to be very straight forward, asking a multitude of questions, truly concerned about my health and what brought me to the hospital. He was determined to preform as many test as it took for him to give my wife and me his diagnosis. After a couple days, he immediately started a regiment of extremely powerfully antibiotics treating three issues of which I was unaware causing my problems. I would recommend Dr. Reinoso to anyone needing treatment for any pulmonary issues.

Unless you enjoy waiting in a waiting room for an hour and then in the exam room for another 45 minutes do not use this doctor. I’ve had at least 4 visits with this doctor where I have waited for over an hour to be seen. Dr Reinoso is a nice man, but his office staff is horrible. They are not only rude & disrespectful, but have charged me the wrong amount of my co pay more than once. I’ve had enough of these physicians who double and triple book. My time is just as valuable as theirs is!

Dr. Reinosa is a skilled physician. In our experience, he spends enough time with his patient and finds out enough facts to make a correct diagnosis when others have not spent the time to adequately evaluate the patient, and others have missed important symptoms that Dr. Reinosa has recognized which turned out to actually be life-saving. He is truly an amazing doctor! Smart and caring.

Thanks to Dr. Reynoso, I am still alive and well at 80 years old, even after years of unnecessary, expensive, and painful testing done by other doctors. Because of his excessive questioning and caring, he competently diagnosed my medical problems. His caring and excessive patient time is based on the patients needs causing him trouble sticking to a schedule set by his office staff. I am glad to wait additional time for my appointment knowing that he will meet MY NEEDS. Bring something to read. You will be fortunate to see Dr. Reynosa.

There are not enough words to explain how grateful I am to Dr. Reinoso. He literally saved my life! He is very diligent, pays attention to details, and very thorough to ensure he finds a diagnosis and does everything to find a cure. I visited my general practitioner several times and she never found what my illness was. I found Dr. Reinoso via google, and in one visit he ordered a CT scan where the test showed I had a pulmonary embolism. If I would've boarded a plan, I wouldn't be writing this review today. Dr. Reinoso was diligent to find out what was wrong with me, and today I am healthy and living a great life. He care about his patients. He will do whatever it takes to get to a diagnosis that will result in a success. The best Pulmonary Doctor ever!
