God like complex
Dr. Chen has a God like complex when it comes to bedside manners. He feels like he his above everyone and everything he says goes. He also wants people to kiss up to him in order from him to even acknowledge that person, well only to certain people. He isn't the nicest and makes the hospital experience very difficult and unpleasant.

I wish I could give no stars.
This man lacks empathy, compassion, and bedside manner. He talks down to the parents of his patients and the nurses he works with. He doesn't explain anything to you, and if you try to ask questions, he makes you feel stupid for asking. He makes jokes at inappropriate times. He is very blunt, which would be great if you aren't talking about someone's child. I feel bad for the nurses that have to work with him and any parent that has to have their child be under his care. If you can, avoid this guy because he is awful.

Rude and unprofessional
Very rude and aggressive when questioned about medical decisions for my son in the NICU. My husband and I questioned the decision to require our son to stay in the NICU for a 3rd night, despite being a full term baby, breathing room air for over 24 hours and consuming the suggested amount of breast milk/ formula, while also passing every test the NICU requires. Obviously if legitimate reasons were explained to keep him overnight again, that wouldn’t be an issue. As new parents, our top priority is a healthy child. However, it seemed there was no valid reasoning for this decision, which made us press him on the decision. Instead of reassurance and further explanation, we were met with aggressive and dismissive responses. This genuine conversation turned into a heated argument with this physician, who then childishly refused circumcision on my son. I would rate 0 stars if possible.

Dr. Chen lacks bedside manners and makes it feel like he is Interrogating parents. Obviously this is just my experience with him. He has a know it all attitude and is dismissive about what you have to say. Overall I do not recommend him.
