I have total and complete trust in Dr Spann! He takes his time and explains things! Very patient and kind! The office/nursing team are very helpful! Dr Spann is one of the best bariatric Dr’s in the country!

Felt like I was in "the best hands". Patient & likeable, felt very comfortable with him. He listens patiently & answered all my questions. Feel confident in best possible outcome. Explained everything at my level. There's a reason Vanderbilt Medical Center has an outstanding reputation ~ Dr. Spann is one of those reasons!

Wonderful bedside manner. The office is run like a well oiled machine in that despite it's large size appts go quickly and are well scheduled for this purpose. The office offers any assistance and education you may need from dietary to psych. Surgical team was truly amazing and patient focused.
