Dr. Matthew Schubert, MD

2 wks post op from a full tubal and I called in advance to make sure the office numbed the cervix BEFORE removing and replacing my IUD. I was told they would by the staff then day of, Dr. S laughed and said NO ONE could numb the cervix that wasnt a thing and that an IUD DIDN'T hurt. I cramped and spasmed so bad that I almost passed out. Went white as a ghost, vomited, bled everywhere and threw up. I repeatedly told him I was DONE and he needed to get out of my body and he continued to push on my cervix with a q-tip and not take the speculum out. I sent a note to the office suggesting several current articles discussing pain management for IUD placement. Sick and tired of male Drs not doing their due diligence to provide QUALITY OBGYN care. Do your JOB and stay utd on research or don't do Obstetrics.

I've seen Dr Shubert off and on for about 11 years for various reasons. He has always been very professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. Due to a recent move and lack of transportation I saw other doctors closer to me. That didn't last long. Good doctors can be hard to find and doctor Shubert is worth the uber ride. An added benefit is his assistant Priscilla. She is so kind and wonderful. It's nice to know exactly who you're going to be working with, to be remember and feel cared for. Thanks again Dr Shubert for helping on my road to recovery once again.

Dr Schubert really listens to my complaints and lays out a plan to try to resolve the issues and ensures that I understand and am onboard.

Follow up from last visit. As usual he listened, came up with options together. He is the best doctor I have had outside of my pediatrician and college doctor. He works with his patients instead of against them (i.e he is never dismissive).

Responded to both medical questions clearly and explained the course of action. Staff member contacted me the following day with information dr. Schubert drew from ordered x-rays, all as discussed during my visit.

I like Dr Schubert but his staff starting with the people at the Front Desk makes it to see him not worth it. They are extremely rude and will give you any excuse not to help you unless you schedule an appointment $$$. Yes that clinic is all about getting the most $$$ out of you. Dr. Schubert please move to another clinic!

Very nice staff and always takes care of my needs. Doctors are busy and they can't call every patient back so the staff is there for that reason and they do a very good job of it. Thank you for your work

He always has a smile and pleasant to address your concerns with. His staff makes you feel right at home. He listens to what you have to say and recomends the next step.

Very grateful that Dr. Schubert was able to see me on short notice. I had gotten rear ended by another car and when I went to urgent care, the very awesome receptionist found someone to take me on short notice so I can't say enough nice things about this doctor as well as the people that helped me that day when I needed to see someone quickly. Nice doctor, good bedside manner and good sense of humor.

Dr Schubert will not call his patients back. His incompetent staff will though. They will call numerous times with recommendations that make no sense, and leave messages on Friday nights at 530 pm so it is impossible to call them back that night. If you call them back, it becomes a game of telephone tag with Dr Schubert never calling the patient back himself so there is no straight answer to a question. He also orders unnecessary bloodwork that can only be completed at his location.
