Exceptional service. Always promptly roomed and MA Anjelica is extremely efficient, professional and kind. Dr. Schreckinger is an accomplished surgeon and explained clearly the diagnosis and the options for treatment. There was no pressure and he was sensitive to my desire to explore non invasive options. After a year it became apparent that surgical intervention was indicated. He performed the surgery at Marion Hospital and my recovery was uneventful . I will continue to see him for follow ups and if any back issues arise in future I am confident that they will be remedied.

Doctor did an amazing job at getting my back in shape two different times. He was very thorough and explained everything I asked him about so I wasn’t nervous about what was coming next. I went from bending over my walker for months to walking straight up and down immediately after my first surgery. I have referred several people to him and I hope they went because it was a life changer.

I have had two back surgeries and each were a success without complications. He is very informative and answered every question. I highly reccommend him.

After a very successful and complex spinal surgery, I had my three month checkup on 10-2. Dr. Shreckinger and his staff have been stellar, pre and post procedure.I cannot stress enough: to find a doctor who is kind, efficient and possessed of the highest surgical skill, is not easy. Dr. Shreckinger is all those things. I highly recommend this practice.

I was unfortunate that I needed to meet a neurosurgeon but am fortunate that it was Dr. Schreckinger. I would not recommend that anyone get a microdiscectomy, but I do recommend anyone who is seriously considering getting back surgery or looking for a second opinion to see Dr. Schreckinger.

Professionally friendly, excellent bedside manner, thoroughly explains everything. I trust my life with him. The V.A. did the first few back surgeries, then Dr. Schreckinger did the last 5. He was excellent!!! Life is worth living now!!! Thanks for all you did Doc!!!… ??????.

Initially, it was a little difficult to get the process started (mostly due to the runaround caused by medical insurance policies), once I was able to see Dr. Schrekinger, I felt comfortable that he was professional, thorough, and offered up less invasive solutions before ultimately jumping to the surgery option. Ultimately surgery was necessary and I feel that he did an outstanding job. My condition is corrected, and the recovery was very rapid and complete. And the scar is barely noticeable. Dr. S is a professional from the word go. If you want someone to hold your hand through the process, I would ask a loving relative to go in with you, but if you want an expert surgeon with a polite courteous and helpful staff, this office will provide that in spades! And, the aftercare at Marian was exceptional as well! Thank you to all involved.

He's a great doctor who goes over everything with very well maybe to well but after my neck surgery I was up walking the hospital that night

My husband, Steven Dagenais, RN, had an old back injury from helping a trauma victim. As an Emergency Department RN, and an ICU RN of over 35 years, wear and tear and small injuries can really add up. Dr. Megan Malzone, our awesome PCP, gave Steve the necessary referral he needed after his MRI showed some issues. We were immediately able to get in to meet and speak with “Dr. Schreck”, as his loving fans call him! We sat down with him and received education complete with digital photos of each level, each narrowed foramen, and step-by-step explanations for Steve’s sudden foot-drop, numbness to his foot, severe pain, and inability to sit, drive his car, and what finally really took him down overnight. Dr. Schreck and his office personnel were so prompt, courteous, highly efficient with outstanding communication skills, having always kept us informed from pre-authorization, to scheduling the very necessary expert surgical interventions by Dr. Schrekinger, in 5 days! Highly recommend

Get a second opinion performed unnecessary procedure that was life changing

My experience at this Doctor seemed to be a total different than the other posts,I ended up waiting 90 minutes and when Doctor finally came into room was too busy answering calls on his cell phone and left exam room at one point to take calls.Basically skimmed over my issue and pretty much told to lose weight and Back issue will go away(I am overweight because I cant exercise as it causes worse back pain)I had Back problems way before gaining weight.I just feel all these Doctors are too afraid to prescibe Meds because they are afraid of abuse of the drugs(I do not have a history of that,nor do I go Doctor to Doctor seeking meds.I was refferred here from my primary for second opinion after MRI and being told by another Doctor I needed Surgery,this Doctor didnt seem to find any of the issues the other Doctor did.So all this appointment did was confuse me,Been refferred to physical therapy and pain management which Ive done before.Not sure if I am Comfortable continueing with this Doctor.

Dr Schreckinger put a very nervous person totally at ease. He also did EXACTLY what he said he was going to do to solve my problem.
