If your serious about your kidney health this is the doctors to see. Extremely good bedside manner . Very knowledgeable and will explain your prognosis in terms that patients can understand . He spends time with his patients AND their family members to explain options and plan (s)of action. He is very thorough and caring . His office staff cares and makes sure to help you get what you need . Appointment times are punctual and on time . There is nothing negative to say ! I wish he could be our primary physician as well as our kidney specialist !

Dr. Schaefer is the only doctor, kidney specialist or otherwise, who took the time to listen. Not grabbing a laptop and ignoring me like other doctors have done. He is very knowledgeable, very caring, and takes his time to explain the ins and outs of your condition. The staff there is the best! I wish I could remember one nurse’s name who was spot on with all that entailed my visit. She was awesome! Thank you all for your making me feel at ease.
