Love Dr Ryan
This dr is very compassionate, caring, wise, very friendly with a great bedside manner, listens well to answer your questions, seeks to understand what you’re going through. He has been my dr many years now and I’ve moved with him twice. His medical assistant is so very sweet and takes care of calling in the medicine with no hiccups. I like his new office where he’s at and the staff are all very friendly. I don’t know why he has bad reviews on this site as you can’t find a more knowledgeable and caring person than he is. He even gave me his cell phone number! Who does that? This Dr does! I had an issue with a couple of medical assistants in the past but he has the best one now, sweet precious Brooke! Don’t hesitate using Dr Ryan…he’s amazing!

Do not recommend
My mom started seeing Dr. Ryan at the beginning of the year. He stated probably vascular dementia and referred her for a mri. We do the mri and then 3 months later go back to get real diagnosis and he does not have mri results but goes on to say it’s probably Lewie body disease (why did it change with no additional information). I go pick up and deliver mri disk and report to his nurse Brook who states she will have him call me after he reviews it. That was on 03/22/23. I don’t hear anything so I call on 04/04 then again on 04/13 and again on 04/18. It’s 04/26 and still no return call. He is changing facilities and will not be here for the next appointment he scheduled which is in August. Do not waste your time with this “DR”

I have been to Dr. Ryan 3 times, I just want to say how much I trust Him, during my last visit instead of him talking to me he told me to tell him about how I was & all the problems I was concerned about. He listened to all I had to say & said he trusted me on my feelings & he is working with me to get me on the right path. Thank you Dr. Ryan for listening to me. Not many Dr. do that. Sincerely Robbie Murray.

The Doctor who would Not.
I have been trying for months to get an appointment, the office staff refuses to return my calls, even to give me a reason. Mine was a medication concern, and I would feel for anyone that was having a worse situation than I was.

He was an hour late, did not review the MRI - AT ALL, made assumptions and diagnosed without looking at records, no bedside manner, and treated as though those with epilepsy are a danger to everyone and that we were wasting his time by being there.

Dr. Ryan is a personable doctor who seems to know what he's talking about. His staff, on the other hand, are not so good. They repeatedly get my medication wrong and then get defensive when I try to correct the problem. I finally mentioned this to Dr. Ryan on my last visit, but he didn't seem to take it seriously. Sure enough, they got my prescription wrong again! I'd hate to change doctors since Dr. Ryan knows my history and does a good job, but dealing with his staff is extremely difficult.

After a wait of an hour and a half Dr. Ryan came in. As I was going into my explanation, he cut me off & said I had trigeminal neuralgia, need an MRI and meds. I explained I had already had an MRI and attempted to explain that I was 7 months into investigating this condition. He cut me off again & said come back in a week. I've already had this rx and it failed. Later I called & complained to office mgr. She said he'd call me. He did; said "did you have a question" Horrible - I won't go back.

I love Dr Ryan, his nurse Tara and the receptionist Paula. Matter fact of fact all of the staff in the office are wonderful. I've been to over 10 neurologist in the last 35 years and he is one of 4 that I trusted to care for me. My former neurologist told me that I was going to be in good hands with Dr Ryan and I had done my research well. I feel very confident and trust Dr Ryan to provide me with the best care. I highly recommend Dr Ryan. He is very kind and spends plenty of time with me.

I was a happy patient until I lost my insurance. His office refused to call me in refills of Cymbalta or reschedule my appointment. Cymbalta is a very dangerous medication to be forced to stop taking without medical care.
