Didn’t listen and incorrectly diagnosed
I went in because I thought I had diastasis recti. He first belittled me for my birth control choice and then insisted I needed lab work to prove I'm not anemic even though I had pregnancy induced anemia and I haven't been pregnant for over a year. Then he told me I didn't have diastasis recti but actually had an umbilical hernia. He told me I shouldn't get surgery before I'm done having children. I told him I wasn't done having children and he still put in a surgery consult for me even before confirming I actually had a hernia. Thankfully the surgery scheduler told me not to schedule a consult until after I got an ultrasound to confirm tbe hernia. I got an ultrasound and turns out I have diastasis recti just like I thought. So now I wasted money on an ultrasound and time that I could have been receiving PT because now I will need to go back to see a PCP again to get a PT referral which I could have gotten in the first place if the doctor would have listened to me
