Took great care of me when I had a nasty bout with vertigo.

I’m sure he thinks he means well but he has a lot to learn about listening and showing compassion. He did fulfill his own checklist, but people are not checklists. Does this guy even like people? Women in particular? The technician working with him today could teach him a lot. Dr. Nowka would do well to humbly shadow him. If I treated people like this who are older when I was his age, I’m so sorry. He was arrogant and took no time to hear the history of my condition or my concerns, which is positive for what I was experiencing and will likely get worse. Who doesn’t know to treat a bronchial infection fast when the patient is a serious asthmatic? No warmth at all; and quite likely a brand new graduate. But he followed his rules citing research on overuse of antibiotics, didn’t “go out of his lane” (his words) so I’m assuming he thought he did a wonderful job. Inauthentic presentation. But again, the technician was comforting and helpful.

Excellent care. Dr. Nowka listened well, explained my health well, and was easy to understand. He is knowledgable, kind, and offers exceptional care.

He was very robotic without bedside manner. Simply checking off a list of things to check. No genuine compassion when I was upset. Didn't listen to me about my condition. Offered treatment inconsistent with what was actually happening because he wouldn't listen. He needs lessons in people skills and needs to learn to read previous charts as it's right in there documentation of my condition. I found it easily. Stay away from this guy. The nurses are amazing!
