Dr. Matthew Norton, DO

Dr. Norton is easily the rudest, most arrogant, dismissive physician I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. His demeanor seems intentionally abrasive, like a passive aggressive way to minimize conversations.

He is very knowledgeable, but did not want to hear my concerns about my treatment as a patient.he wanted me to take a sleep apnea study, despite that I had one within 5 years that was negative for apnea. I don’t have apnea symptoms, I’m just overweight. When I expressed unwillingness to do the test again, he said “what’s there to decide? you just do it” and shut down the convo. He does not tolerate patients questioning or challenging his opinions. He also put me on a type-2 diabetic medication when I’m a type-1 diabetic. I’m so glad I switched to a different physician who is interested in hearing my concerns about my health and treatment.

Helped immensely with my neck and back that caused neuropathy into my left arm and hand with his knowledge of osteopathic adjustments.

Dr Norton is a genuine caring person when it comes to the well being of his patients. He is blunt and straight to the point he listens to what you have to say , has good bedside manner I can't be anymore appreciative to had a Dr like him. Unfortunate he has to leave office soon but I know wherever he ends up going I hope the best for him

I can not speak highly enough about Dr Matt Norton. Not only is he very detailed in his approach, he explains things in a way that you completely understand. Dr Norton show the utmost dignity and respect to his patients, and he always make sure that you leave his office informed. He is a fun guy to talk to and puts you at ease the minute he begins talking to you. Goshen Physicians is very lucky to have a provider on staff like Dr Matt Norton.
