Dr. Matthew Murray, MD

As a physician he does his job. As a person he’s rude. I moved to Mississippi and brought my medical records. He didn’t look at them. He then proceeded to rant about how my last doctor was a idiot. My last primary he was referring to as a idiot was a Vanderbilt graduate and was with me for 13 years. There’s not many doctors in South Mississippi. This guy knows it the way he speaks. I do not recommend Dr. Murray.

He is caring, takes you seriously, and listens to your concerns. A lot of doctors don't put much weight into your opinions or what you think may be wrong but he listens to everything I say and is happy to check things or refer me to specialists if I feel there is something important that needs to be checked. He is the best doctor I've ever had and have recommended him to multiple people. He is willing to search for whatever the issue is, even if it's some oddball thing, he will get to the bottom of it.

I felt that meeting with Dr. Murray was one of the best medical experiences I’ve had. He was willing to listen, ask questions, and he was willing to be proactive to actually address my problems. He was quick to do a referral. I felt that he was very knowledgeable and willing to point me in the right direction for other specialists.

Extremely arrogant, he had a major issue with the fact I had no choice but to bring my 2 boys with me to appt (though they sat in their seats and played fairly quietly). I politely answered all his questions though I was immediately treated disdainfully from the moment he walked in the door. After politely answering all questions, I mentioned the poor treatment. He then went on to make false claims and to state that I was late when I was not late, I was actually a few minutes early for my appointment. Following all of this, I declined to be his patient. I don't recommend this doctor. However, I would like to to note that front office staff were extremely polite and professional.
