Dr. Matthew Mitchell, MD

Dr. Mitchell took care of my mother while she was a patient in the ICU. All I can say is I would NEVER recommend him to anybody. His bedside manner was absolutely horrible. My mother was on her death bed and he showed zero compassion to myself and my father. He told me to pull her tube now or let her die alone and that he didn't understand "what I was waiting on". I am in the medical field and am very well aware of policy, procedures, bedside manner and professionalism and he lacked all of these. Not to mention he did a procedure on her that was NOT necessary which she never recovered from. The hospital my mother was at was great and I came across many great nurses, staff, respiratory therapists and other ICU doctors, but he will forever be stuck in my mind as the one doctor that never helped, only hurt. Stay far away if he is assigned to a loved one, trust me.
