Terrible doctor
Got my mom addicted to oxy and fled the state! Weird. Wonder how his patients are doing where he is now.

Four years strong
I have seen Dr Milligan for four years now and he is my PCP. I have never had a single issue with him and as a matter of fact, I have actually been really satisfied with all of my care. He has performed my pap smears, he has removed a lipoma for me, amongst countless other things. He has listened to me intently, never judged me and I highly recommend him as a physician.

Had seen this guy several times with zero respect for this guy as a doctor . This last visit was the last dealing with his only interest throwing unneeded perscription . Told was in kidney failure , prescribed a drug that has side effects . So I went got it filled 3 times but did not take one pill . Waited to see if this guy had any inclination for checking any follow up . Got zero response from this guy after three months no different than previous visits. Not easy finding a doctor who accepts new patients . Well finally got see new doctor that had been wanting to see for some time . Blood result zero indication of kidney failure . Under no circumstances would I ever step foot in this clinic period ever again . Their entire staff a total joke because I had been thru all them previously . The most no caring doctors for patients clinic in Nashville . BEWARE this clinic cares nothing about a patients well being along will terrible trained staff with zero respect for patient .

Comprehensive and knowledgeable
I’ve searched for a new primary for some time and was referred to Dr. Milligan by a family member who raved about their experiences! My first visit was shortly after several visits to the ER within a week and Dr. Milligan was determined to find the root cause. Yeah a through physician who doesn’t resort to medicine as a band aid! I’ve had subsequent appointments and have just as impressed and pleased with my healths progress. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Milligan straight shooter who cares immensely about his patients.

Unprofessional
I have been seeing Dr Matthew Milligan for over 1 year for diabetes and neck pain. After 1 year of writing me pain meds, l went to the dentist for a tooth extraction. Dentist wrote me 6 pain pills. Dr. Milligan cut me off cold Turkey. I have not seen or heard from him. Very disappointed very unprofessional. He does not care for his patients.

Judgmental
His first question to me, a single man in my early 30's-was, "So you've had a vasectomy?" followed by, "Do you HAVE any children?"

I have had Dr. Milligan for well over 20 years and have been going to Summit Primary Care for close to 40 years or ever since I can remember! Dr. Milligan is a good doctor, however sometimes comes across to bluntly however I like pragmatic people because Im very pragmatic as well! Dr. Milligan in that aspect gets my most highest regards! I have sent some friends to him however they thought he didn’t have a good bedside manor mainly about him being sharp and quick with them, but I had warned them that this is his style! Dr. Milligan also has done an excellent job in assisting me a bridge when I have been in-between pain management clinics. This last visit he didn’t spend anytime with me whatsoever nor did he even listen to me when i told him the Z pack does nothing for me and Cepro works for me! He also rushed me too quickly! Both him and his nurse Salean seemed to look at me as if I was a problem patient this last visit? He also didn’t believe me that I had pneumonia, but I di

Could Get Five Stars
Office always clean and front office staff is polite and pleasant to deal with. Doctor is always punctual and helpful and I never have a problem getting an appointment. He listens and orders appropriate tests and blood work and was timely on a referral to deal with an acquired autoimmune disease. Filling prescriptions is a chore because an office visit is required every time even for long term medications that we will always be on for the rest of our lives and results in unneeded office visits and copays. If not for this one flaw he would be five star!!!

As a first time, new patient of Dr. Milligan’s, I found him to be polite, respectful, attentive and sincerely interested in my medical history so as a formidable plan for future care could be established. Nurse Selene and lab staff were also friendly, professional.

I have been blessed to have him as my disabled daughters’, as well as my physician. He truly cares for his patients. Always listens to you, in order to give you the best medical care. I’ve had numerous physicians, and do not trust anyone, but him to care for my daughter, whom has a head injury, and other major medical conditions due to a car accident. He cares for you as if you were one of his family members. To sum everything up he is awesome.
