Dr. Matthew Mendes, MD

I recently was a patient of Dr. Mendes in the emergency room at the UC Health Highlands Ranch Hospital and he is hands down the best physician I have ever been evaluated by (and I also work in healthcare). He was timely, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and was very thorough in his history, exam, and in explaining his differential diagnosis and ultimately what I was diagnosed with. Especially in the emergency department, physicians are stretched extremely thin but Dr. Mendes goes above and beyond to ensure his patients feel cared for and valued. He tailors his conversations to each patient individually (providing me with the relevant articles that his treatment plan were based on). I cannot sing high enough praises for Dr. Mendes and the rest of the staff at the UC Health Highlands Ranch Campus. They have restored my faith that there still is high-quality, affordable healthcare out there!
