Imagine a doctor with such hatred that they key cars. This could be dangerous for the treatment of patients and public health. It's best to stay away from that doctor.

I was dismayed to hear about Dr. Karlovsky's recent legal issues. He was arrested on April 2024 for allegedly being involved in a possible hate crime which is now subjecting him to felony charges. These allegations, if true, make me question whether I would receive fair and unbiased treatment and raise serious concerns about the ethical standards upheld by those responsible for our care. Trust and integrity are paramount in healthcare, and it is crucial for patients to feel safe and respected by their medical providers. After a bladder injury I probably saw 15 Urologists but not until Dr Karlovsky did I feel I had found the right one. He has been my urologist now for many years and will be for many more. With Dr K you will find his knowledge, experience and bed sign manner are incredible. I never feel rushed and always feel comfortable to share my questions or concerns. He never runs out of ideas to help me with my IC,, he is always looking out for my best interest. This is a doctor who actually kept his Med School oath. I can’t say enough about how good he’s been to me. Lastly he’s also funny which helps take the anxiety out of a painful bladder scope. I’m a patient for life

Look elsewhere in our opinion. The lack of competency in the Front & Rear office staff is overwhelming and worrisome when we mentioned this to Dr Karlovsky he said the front office is new, and short staffed. For us….Now plan is to Find another urology practice.

The office was called on numerous occasions and phone calls were never returned. I had a procedure that needed follow up and they allowed me to fall through the cracks. I called the office and there was no voicemail available and no one to talk to. The doctor and his staff never followed up. I finally reached someone in the office and said that I would be complaining to Medicare and my insurance company about the quality of care I was receiving. They IMMEDIATELY tried to book a follow up appointment with me. To add insult to injury, when I was being cared for by Dr. Karlovsky, his demeanor was very insulting and condescending. This was very hurtful and added to my decision never to return. I had decided he was no longer a doctor I wanted to receive care from. I cannot in good conscience recommend this doctor or this office to anyone!

Chronic UTIs over 4 month period. He has been timely, kind & persistent with my issues. Takes the time needed to answer all questions.

Excellent Dr. Super, Professional many of my friends are his patients and and feel he is one of the BEST in his field. Highly recommend his if you are in need of a UROLOGIST!

Dr.Karlovsky is the best-- took care of my kidney stones that i have had for years---always had stones and over the 25 years or so, had them removed surgical--blasted in a water bed etc.the procedure he did in March & April took care of the rest of them--- Happy I found the best doctor here in Arizona---thank you DR. K

Not only am I a patient, I've had multiple surgeries. I was pretty young at the time & very worried/stressed. By the time the doctor was done speaking w/ me, I was excited for surgery... happy to get treated. i recovered quickly. And SURE, we wait & wait but if you want a Dr who is LESS in demand, go ahead & find one. Hes amazing. If anyone leaves a bad review, it's prob because their wife has a crush on Dr.Karlovsky. Ive never left reviews before, but when I saw a score less than 3.5, I had to!

Dr. Karlovsky is an excellent doctor. However, his staff and phone system is impossible to navigate. No matter how great a doctor you are, if patients can’t communicate with you, then what does it matter? Unfortunately I cannot reccomend Dr. Karlovsky because of lack of communication with his staff.

Dr. Matthew Karlovsky saved my life. After years of pain and seven different doctors, I went to Dr, Karlovsky. I thought he would tell me I had Intersticial Cystitis like all the rest, but, instead, he decided to do a pelvic floor examination. He discovered it was my pelvic floor causing all of my urinary symptoms! He prescribed a very low dose of valium to calm my pelvic floor as well as Physical Therapy and it worked! Diagnoses: Pelvic Floor Tension Myalgia. This man is a miracle worker!

I've been here four times for prostate in the last 1 1/2 years. I've had to wait for an hour nearly every time. I've only had an exam once. The office is very unorganized.

Plan on waiting at least an hour in their crowded waiting room. Dr. forgot what husband was there for, when reminded, he said to make another appointment. I never felt that he really cared about my husband, that he was just another number. Probably a good surgeon, but otherwise not impressed.

I wish I would have known about Dr Karlovsky before I had a different urologist do my surgery. Wait time was very reasonable...not long at all. Besides, I don't mind waiting for the right doctor, well worth it. I wasn't rushed in and out as I was with my previous surgeon. I am looking forward to Dr Karlovsky repairing the previous surgery I recently had.

Dr. Karlovsky was wonderful and very helpful. Dealing with his office staff is a different story. I found them to be very impatient, unhelpful, and defensive. I will continue to see Dr. Karlovsky and just hope he hires some new office people.

Dr. Karlovsky was great. His staff is why I will not be returning. I was having a lot of pain and couldn't wait 3 weeks for the follow up appointment. Left several messages and never received a call back. No sure how an office can function when no one communicates with patients. Very disappointed.
