I had bunion surgery with Dr. Ivey 2 years ago. I am still in pain. Healing did not come easily and upon my many return visits to him, he finally told me, "Surgery was a complete failure." So..what do I do now? He told me it is because I smoke, yet I have had several surgeries, while smoking, and totally healed fine. I am in constant pain, and very discolored over most of my foot. I really liked him, and felt very confident in his ability. So..do I go back to him, and go through this whole procedure, again? I hate leaving a negative review about him, but I am at loss as to what the next step is. All I know is after 2 years, I am still in severe pain, and nothing seems to help. Advise??

No nonsense Podiatrist. I really like him. Not like some who are looking to recommend surgery for every condition. Took care of my bunion. Took care of my daughter's broken toe without surgery. Took care of my granddaughter's fracture with just a walking boot.
