Dr. Matthew Hopson, DPM

Dr Hopson and his staff are amazing! They are proficient and kind. I chose Dr Hopson for my elective foot surgery after weighing all the options and waiting a year before I decided to move forward. The office was always helpful and I never waited more than 5-10 minutes to be called back or to see the Dr. On surgery day, the staff at the surgery center were calming and again very efficient. I have nothing but good things to say. I did incur an infection 4 weeks post surgery that was my fault; however Dr Hopson was quick to act and I was immediately back on track to recovery. I highly recommend Dr Hopson for any type of orthopedic podiatry care you may need. He also took care of my son when he had an ingrown toenail, again he was efficient and effective.

Dr Hopson is a very confident doctor , which is one of the many things I like about him.He is kind and cares about how you’re doing Have had two successful bunion surgeries I have and will continue recommend him

Doctor Matthew Hopson is confident, knowledgeable, and provided an outstanding result on my hammertoe issue. Dr. Hopson described his plan well and I was pleased post surgery when he communicated things went exactly as planned. My healing was steady and within a couple of weeks I was better than ever. I had a prior ankle issue on the same side and must have been favoring my hammertoe because my ankle also feels so much better with the corrective surgery to my toe. I would not hesitate to work with Dr Hopson.

The staff at check-in was very friendly as was the girl who brought me my surgical boot and explained how to put it on, adjust and fasten it. Dr. Hopson seemed very knowledgable about the problems with my feet. He listened to my concerns and assured me that he could correct the problems.

He was very concern he went beyond his duty to try and figure out what was going on with my daughter foot and why she was having this pain

Had hammer toe and bunion surgery. Dr. Hopson is direct and to the point. Did an excellent job. Before and after x-rays were amazing after two weeks.

I usually don't fill these out, however this was an experience I can't leave out. The front desk told my husband accommodation paperwork he needed would be faxed over to his job on Monday morning. A week later the paperwork never came. We swung by the office and nothing was filled out on the paperwork, said we had to pay 40 dollars to get it filled out! We took it to our pcp and he did it in 10 mins and stated the office could have they just didn't want to! Also never have i seen a doctor rush out his patient more so than Dr Hopson did to my husband, my husband was asking him questions as the doctor continued to walk out the door like he was not listening! All he cared about was giving him an injection and getting him out the door. because of dr hopson my husband planter fasciitis as ruptured ! extremely painful, since this we have seen another orthopedic and he is getting great treatment and in a boot. Don't waste your time with this doctor he just wants someone to bill !!!!!

My experience with Dr Hopson has been great! However I cannot get over the stains on the chairs in the waiting room. It’s gross and unhygienic.

Very timely and direct and to the point

Even in a practice that is very busy Dr. Hopson and his staff take the time to listen to any concerns and truly discuss a treatment plan with me. I am part of the process not dictated to by him or the nurses. My opinion counts!

Not sure if I had a unique feature that made him in such a rush or perhaps he was just in a hurry nothing to do with me. I did get this appointment rather quickly so perhaps I fortunate to get seen at all.

Organized & orderly.

I could hardly walk. After one office visit and an MRI he scheduled and performed the following surgical procedures in one go: Brostrom lateral ankle stabilization, Evans calcaneal osteotomy, Gastrocnemius recession and First metatarsophalangeal fusion (I think I identified them correctly). Three weeks later, xrays reveal healing on track and the improvements are visible, the cast is off, staples and stitches are out and I'm now in a boot for three more weeks, no weight on foot, no driving. Won't say it wasn't painful, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the long run. He does these types of rescues all the time and I'm grateful for his skills. I should note for full disclosure that the TPMG office and tech staff did not have the follow-through standards to fix my patient portal issues until two days prior to surgery, and only after I called and emailed dozens of times. But that in no way reflects on Dr Hopson's surgical skills. He is a five star DPM.

He was very understanding. Talked about plan of care and potential therapies done the road.

Dr. Hopson was really great with my daughter. He was engaging and was very thorough with her issue

Love the office personnel and Dr Hopson is Great.
