Dr.
I had an epidural injection for my back pain with Dr. Matthew Harris, an outstanding anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. From the moment I walked into his office, I felt I was in good hands. Dr. Harris is not only highly professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly skilled and compassionate. He explained everything clearly and performed the procedure with great care and precision. The entire team, from the front desk to the back office staff, were exceptionally kind, helpful, and cooperative. Their warm and respectful manner made the entire experience smooth and comfortable. It’s rare to find a medical office where both the physician and the staff provide such a high level of service and human connection.I am truly grateful for their care and highly recommend Dr. Harris and his wonderful team to anyone seeking pain management with professionalism and heart.

Just don't!!!
Let me just tell you. This guy is probably a great magna cumme laude valedictorian student. But in no way shape or form should he be dealing with other human beings! He's rude, not compassionate whatsoever. Throws his tools around like a child the guy should not be in practice. End of sentence!!! Do yourself a favor and find yourself somebody who actually cares about you and pain Management it's a very serious subject and I am with you for all of those who are in chronic pain God bless you all.

Dr. Harris … one of the most impressive things about my visit is that Dr. Harris patiently explain to me (with diagrams and “plastic spine”) why exactly what my problem was, what my options were and how he would proceed. Am very confident he will give me good care.

Exemplary Doctor
Dr. Harris was so kind, patient and caring. He heard all of my concerns and gave me several options for treatment. I wish all doctors had his bedside manner and professionalism. What a wonderful human being. Check out his background.

I used to love him until I discovered that pain can intensify excessively after a shot has worn off over a period of time. I have been in and out of the ER numerous times, suicidal, because the pain is a ten and never stops. He WILL make you worse with time.

It was my first visit to his office. The nurse was very kind and made me feel welcomed. I Love that Dr. Harris gave me alternate paths towards my recovery and left that decision up to me. He was very practical and gave me time to ask all the questions I had. I found Dr. Harris to be very honest and practical in his approach. I'm so glad I was referred to him!

Rude and without compassion. No one answers the phones and call backs typically take 5 days. A recorded message of a woman tells you, “leave a detailed message and I will return your call at MY convenience.” Emphasis is hers. There seems no concern that the patient is in pain and needs intervention. I requested follow up for my 90-yr-old father after pain sent him to ER. Two weeks later, still no contact. In between I called requesting contact info for the hospital to send over MRI results. Nothing. People in pain need timely and compassionate care. This practice offers neither.

FANTASTIC! He is calm, cool and collective and simply fantastic. Furthermore, I had an some annoying pain ailments after a surgery and then a car accident and he assured me from the moment I saw him that he/we would get this resolved. Perhaps more importantly, he kept that promise. Thank you Dr. Harris.

I would never refer anyone to Dr Harris. I have been a RN for forty years I have never seen a doctor treat a patient so rudely. When he forced me to reduce the dose of my pain medication, I went to his office and requested to leave a message for him. The receptionist said he would not talk to me. I would have to wait for my next appointment ( in 2 weeks ). So, I waited in the waiting room for him to come out. He walked out right past me , ignoring me. He told me to go to the ER. I have a severe nerve injury . He insisted I reduce the dose of my pain medication but he gave me NO tools to help me ; such as nerve blocks.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harris for over 10 years, through back and neck surgery & recently through a hip replacement. This office is special for the following reasons, well worth a 10+. Dr Harris is a great listener; he helps to diagnose the cause of the pain & the location; he provides options for relief & then supports his patients with ongoing care. Rare for Dr.s offices these days but he is 99% on time for appointments; his staff is knowledgeable & customer focused; he has hired enough professional staff to manage & maintain a quality standard in the practice. I have always seen Dr. Harris personally for each appointment, I have NEVER been shuffled off to a PA for an office visit. With critical pain, his staff fits me in for an urgent appoint. They can reach him if needed when he is not in the office & he responds. (wonder of wonders). I have referred friends and family to Dr. Harris with great success. Additionally, he knows & works well with surgeons in OC.

Dr. Harris is excellent in my opinion. My first visit for back pain, he listened, examined, and presented options. He helped me to come to a decision that we were both comfortable with. Every time I go for a follow up or another injection, he remembers things we talked about at prior visits! He always smiles, and always treats me well and with respect - not as just another faceless patient or another procedure to check off for the day. If you need pain management, go see him.
