The first time I met him he was nice and friendly. I trust him and highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr Garrett did a partial thyroidectomy on me. Did a great job and my scar is minimal. This retired Nurse Practitioner recommends this surgeon.

YOU HAVE TO TRUST AND BELIEVE IN YOUR SURGEON. I’m so grateful to his colleague Dr. Sonya Bennet, for her “didn’t have to do it” referral and Dr. G’ s “RIGHT NOW” response. The cure was in the mix NOW. Dr. G. took it as seriously as I did. Dr. G was well informed and prepared to move forward and “get this taken care of.” The node had doubled in size in 4 months growing from 5 CC to 10 CC. Dr. G was confident and rapid in his response. He took some extra time to explain what he could about the situation and admitted some things he would have to discover during surgery. He showed us the CT WITH CONTRAST that showed the size and complexity of the node that was so large it was shoving my esophagus and wind pipe far to the right. Further complicating, things, after the CT was done on 9/8/23 the node shifted paths and headed toward my spine. Dr Garrett did a partial parathyroidctomy &a partial thyroidctomy on me. I'm a retired RN. I used to work the unit that his patients were on after surgery. I knew right away who I wanted as my surgeon. I saw first-hand his genuine concerned for his patients and their positive surgical outcomes. I had no apprehensions whatsoever knowing that Dr Garrett was going to be my surgeon. I highly recommend Dr Garrett.

Dr. Garrett removed my thyroid and did a wonderful job. It was rather enlarged, so it was probably no picnic. No complications and the incision was placed well and is healing nicely. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Garrett is very caring and personable. When he's with me he listens and answers all my questions. He explains everything so I understand. He doesn't rush thru my appointment like a lot of other Drs.

Excellent surgeon, recovery has been excellent!

Dr. Garrett performed a total thyroidectomy due to a diagnosis of thyroid cancer. From the initial consultation to the follow-up visit after surgery, Dr. Garrett was professional and compassionate. He put my mind at ease during a stressful time. The potential for a horrible scar really was the least of my worries at the time, but I'm happy that the place of incision is barely noticeable. Thank you Dr. Garrett!

Dr. Garrett was excellent in his expertise, demeanor, and overall treatment of my situation. I had a lot of fears about having my Total Thryoidectomy, and as soon as I met him, I felt like he addressed them in a compassionate manner. Making sure my voice was protected and that I did not lose my ability to sing was most important and he spoke to that concern readily and confidently. He was personable, professional and kind. I feel like I got the best care available in our region from him.
