Hard to say
On my first visit to his office he had an x-ray taken of my ankle and read it quickly and recommended PT, but I never saw the doc, only his assistant.On my second visit I waited an hour and 10 minutes past my appointment, only saw his assistant who told me to keep doing what I had been doing; not helpful at all.So, the doctor has never looked at my ankle other than by x-ray.Not going back.

Very pleased
Had previous surgery with another local Dr 30 yrs ago and started having issues again so went back to that Dr and was not at all happy about his bedside manner. So i came to Dr Feltner as a second opinion and decided to go with his recommendations. He worked my surgery in so quickly bc he understood the long wait and pain i had been going through. Also, not to mention the unprofessional situation I was dealing with my once admired previous Dr I am three weeks post op and very pleased with how things are going. He also answers my questions and doesn’t rush through my appointments. Hes very upfront and doesn’t sugar coat it, which I respect. His staff is always very friendly and ready to help in any way. There is a feeling in his office that seems like everyone loves their job and speaking from experience with working in medical offices over the years, is so important and even for a patient that cant get out of the house, cant do the normal everyday tasks presently, helps tremendously!

Please be careful & review patient portals
Dr Feltner treated me for over 1 1/2 years for what was to be Tarsal Tunnel. He did tarsal tunnel release surgery and I had no relief! Received surgery follow up bill and contacted office! I was told I was being treated for planter fasciitis and that was a bill for that! Dr Feltner NEVER told me I had that! I started checking patient portal and there was so MANY LIES that he had stated… I was devastated!! I made follow up appointment and tried to discuss with him and he kept lying about what was in portal and what he had told me! I never got better and never went back! Later I learned I have neuropathy and CRPS! My surgery was totally in vain and wasn’t needed! Lots of pain and money for NO reason! I am still seeking treatment for my condition but not with Feltner!!! CHECK YOUR PATIENT PORTAL FOR FALSE INFORMATION!!!

Dr. Matt Feltner is a great orthopedic and has an eye for detail. The only con is the long wait to see him other than that you can't ask for a better doctor for foot or ankle care. He helped my son and I am grateful!
