Arrogant and wrong.
Said my symptoms didn't sound like the suggested DX three times before I mentioned it was suggested by the NP at a different location. At that point he essentially said that he didn't know anything about it (so why were you so confident) and that it wasn't his problem.I bawled all night because I thought she had figured out why I had become so ill and lost faith that they would figure it out if this genius Neuro couldn't.She (the NP - thanks Cassandra!) got it right. The DX was diagnosed in two different ways, with one way hitting both criteria when you only needed one for the test. Was arrogant and confidently wrong. May have been a good neuro for my Small Fiber Neuropathy, Headaches, Memory problems, etc, if I could trust him, but his dismissiveness now lives in my DNA.

Waste of time
I am still in shock after my appointment. Not professional and is lacking in compassion. If you are an older adult woman. go elsewhere to be treated with dignity and respect.

Dr. Dooley is kind and caring. My physiatrist, Dr. Weller, speaks highly of him. He has been helpful with my migraines and with assessments of my neuromuscular state, since I have a progressive disease.

I spent many hours of research in an attempt to find an Oregon neurologist possessing both consummate skill and compassion. Dr. Dooley is the kind of doctor most people have stopped looking for because they no longer believe they exist.
