Dr. Matthew D'John, MD

Dr. D John did not do the first knee replacement I had it done in a different part of Michigan and it was to far to travel to have other Dr do it. I fell in December and was stubborn to go and get it checked out..Dr. D John is an excellent doctor, he is very caring and has excellent bedside manners. I’m three weeks out from surgery and I’m doing great! I highly recommend him. I would also like to say Thank you Dr. D John for taking me as a patient, I understand that there are not many doctors that like to redo other doctors work. My old apparatus had broke away and Doctor was surprised that I was even walking on it. I now have a rod in my leg and I too am amazed at how well I’m doing!!

This was great I’m 73 years old 4 days after surgery I was up walking with a cane great doctor 5 stars isn’t enough.

Dr. D’John was absolutely amazing. Great outcome with the surgery. He has a wonderful bedside manner!

I have seen Dr. D’John many times for various issues. He should be scored nothing under a 5 star. He is kind, professional, caring, takes all the time you need- no rushing. Explained everything and even draws pictures to explain a bit further if needed. He is the most gentle Dr. , I believe , I have ever been to. Highly recommended. *****

Dr Matthew D'John is a great doctor he's second to no one, never rushed always taken care of everytime even if it's not totally resolved our bods break down Dr D'JOHN works his professional knowledge to get RELEIF from our wild life youthfull adventures as we've grown.. He's has replaced my total right hip wow better than the original equipment, zero fall out all great from the moments I woke up from surgery... Fact.. Dr has treated my knees and with precise pain control every time I visit.. Don't hesitate to call and rely on Dr Matthew D'John to assist with your joint issues... I travel now 1.5 hrs each way to have him treat me still for my knee since he took the professional move from Troy MI to Bay City Mi.. His replacement at his past practice isn't half as professional... Like everything else in our lives hard Folks are hard to come by Dr D'John is one of those good guys to have.

Surgery went fine with no problems. Little to no pain afterwards. Hip was like back to new. Very good bedside manner.

Visited me many nights in the hospital after 9pm when I was in pretty rough shape. He has been a nursing assistant, a nurse and a surgeon. He understands the entire care process. Healthcare professionals have more and more requirements thrust upon them. He manages these impossible demands much better than most.

Was great until I had surgery but after when there were issues was hard to reach did not return calls eventually had to go to another doctor. Aweful patient follow up and care.

Dr. D'John helped me with a torn meniscus in my left knee, suggested hyaluronic acid shots instead of surgery. (Chicken Shots) Great results. exercise and stretches- never looked back, and no pain in my knees. (57 years old)

Very and efficient. May have saved my life.
