I've been seeing Dr. Banfield for five years and he is always supportive, compassionate, and provides easy to understand information on overall health and reproductive health concerns. He also advocated for me when I was in a dispute over an insurance claim which goes beyond his role as a healthcare provider.

Went in for what I was afraid was a very painful procedure. Dr Banfield only would prescribe an anti-anxiety medication. Spent the procedure and the following 24hours in horrendous pain. I could never go back to a doctor that was that indifferent.

He maybe a good dr, maybe he is skillful?, maybe was having a real busy day, but I was not impressed for first visit. Felt really canned and generalized and the he was giving the insurance and vaccine company scripts/spiels. I didn't get the impression he cared to keep me as a patient being first time. I think its a big clinic and he's probably overly busy and following protocol. But not really the provider I would trust with my life health. felt super "canned". Plus side. Nurse was great!

Dr. Banfield was excellent with his diagnostic skills. I had a different MD, but due to her vacation time, I saw Dr. Banfield for one visit. Dr. Banfield was able to accurately diagnose hyperthyroidism in a single visit, which was missed by my regular Ob/Gyn in about 8 visits. His assessment led me to take several preventative measures. He was very patient and explained everything to me. He also followed up with me and the endocrinologist even after my regular doctor returned.
