Dr. Auman is young. But he is outstanding in the treatment area. He is a very good listener and provides options for treatments. I have an immune disease and he has been incredible grom the start. He is compassionate and caring. I saw previous posts about nacotics... he like most docs is protecting his license.

When he comes into the examining room he knows who I'am and also remembers things we have discussed on previous visit. He makes me feel like he knows me and is interested in my health. He has knowledge and is able to answer my medical questions I have asked him and knows the treatment that would work best for me.

The scheduling lady is rude and hateful. She answers phone yelling and wouldn't explain the doctor had no openings in his schedule being 100% full. I called 3 times before I figured it out. She was nasty yelling each time. I am sick, wrongly diagnosed and couldn't see a doctor. I was misdiagnosed by the doctor who didn't run a test. He said I had pre-cancer skin cancer and gave me radiation cream to use 2 times a day for 6 weeks. After 3 1/2 weeks and this didn't work he yelled at me on the phone. He said he didn't know what it was and didn't send me to a dermatologist because dermatologist are busy. Then he sent me to a dermatologist and her test showed it was eczema. The nurse in Doctor Auman's was horrible when I called 3 times not telling the doctor what I was saying but rewording it to suit herself. The radiation medicine never worked and all I did was itch and itch. The nurse yelled at me saying I wasn't placing the cream on my body right. These 3 people don't care about me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Auman for a few years now and I do appreciate his effort to listen and take his time during the appts. However, I had a horrible experience with a few nurses at his office. Went in for a suspected UTI and was completely humiliated by the nurses. I won't go into detail but they were the most unprofessional nursing staff I have ever witnessed and I've unfortunately been around lots of nurses and doctor's. I wish I would've brought it up to the Dr himself but u didn't. This happened back in January 2019. I'm not one for confrontation but these particular nurses should know better!!!

First, I waited almost 3 months to even get an appointment with Dr. Auman. I am only 39, on disability, I have chronic pancreatitis (which I live in daily pain with) a bunch of GI issues, along with degenerative disc disease, arthritis in my spine, and other back problems. Well, he of course like so many docs read my medication list & ASSumed I was a drug seeker. I see a pain management doc for that & I am in a contract! His first words to me were, "I don't do narcotics, etc. pg 1 of 2

I have been going to Dr Auman for a couple of years. Despite the lack of any sense of comfort I get or feeling like I can be honest with him, he fits what I need. I only see him once a year. That is to get my yearly refill on a long term medication. My last appointment, MY YEARLY WELL VISIT, should have been free. Instead I was charged a copay since he had to refill my medication. The office states that this increased my visit to the next level. This seems like insurance fraud to me.

PART ONE: Within 15 minutes of meeting me he started to aggresivley type negative comments about me on my permanent chart. One thing he wrote was chronic non-compliance. // Within the last 6 months my medical bills completly drained my retirement that I had worked 28 years for. DOCTOR, I AM NOT NON-COMPLIANT, I HAVE NO MORE MONEY! And, I havent went to your scheduled OB doctor because #1 I was repeatedly molested while growing up. And, #2, .....continued onto second review...

DOESN'T LISTEN... period! PLUS, a member of his staff called after my tests came back, but had NO information on my actual results... instead she "coached" me on areas I needed improvement. Her: "Your cholesterol is a little high, but no need for medication." Me: "What are my cholesterol numbers?" Her: "I don't have those numbers in front of me." WHAT?!?!? After one appointment (and a few calls with his staff) I fired him and found an excellent physician!

My Experience with Dr. Matthew Auman couldn't have been any better. It was my first appointment. The Secretary at the font desk was sweet and welcomed me with a smile. The facility was clean. My wait to see Dr. Auman wasn't long at all. When I did see Dr. Auman he was pleasant, kind, caring. I didn't feel rushed. He explained my situation to where I could understand. He is very thorough and made sure to listen and answer all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Auman.

I was looking for a new doctor. This was the best decision to choose him. He has been great. He takes his time, he listens to me and does not rush. There was a couple times when I thought I knew better but he was right and i was in denial. He has helped me turn my health around with out judging or nagging me but he has held me accountable for my actions. I live about 30 minutes away but it is well worth the drive when find a great doctor.

Friendly, but everything must be "his way". Not willing to budge, take suggestions/requests. Unfortunately, I will be changing my care over to another physician that is willing to listen to and address my concerns without being one sided.

He's one of the best GPs I've had. He remembers me when I come in for my 3-month checkup, and we typically have an exciting chat about the medical device industry. He is equal parts knowledgeable and personable. I would definitely recommend him to any young adults in the greenwood area looking for a new GP.

I am an RN that was there to establish care with him. I went 1 month early to sign a release of information from my previous MD. They lost it. The CNA'S could not take a BP. They tried 10 times. My arms were killing me aterwards. The MD came in the door and his first words were "I will not refill your meds" He did not even attempt to get a medical history! As a medical professional for over 35 years I can tell you HE IS A BAD DOCTOR! Don't go to him. He does not care about his patients!

Lacking in bedside manner and listening skills. For being so young, his approach to care was extremely rigid and uncompromising to my personal feelings as the patient. I didn't feel heard, respected or validated in anything we discussed. He was very myopic as in its my way or hit the hyway. Quite disappointing to say the least. Especially for someone professing Christianity.
