don't recommend this guy!
Triple by pass with a resulting complication to diaphragm…..this guy in my opinion avoiding telling the truth…that in surgeries stuff happens occasionally…… he sighted reasons to disavow himself from the complication which based on evidence I gathered from his own hospital were false statements on his part…..has a god like complex and I would not trust or recommend him to anyone #find another surgeon

Quintuple bypass
Dr. Arneson performed a quintuple bypass on me in October 2023. I scheduled an appointment with him for a second opinion. Afterwards decided to go with him for the surgery. He explained everything and answered all my questions about the surgery. I was dismissed from hospital the third day after surgery. I totally recommend Dr. Arneson for anyone requiring heart surgery. Fantastic heart surgeon
I was diagnosed with a aortic heart valve that needed to be replaced. Dr. Arneson was recommend to me by a retired heart surgeon and I was extremely pleased with him. He explained all my options and what to expect. The surgery went without a hitch and I was up and about within a week. My surgery was performed Nov. 2018

Cocky surgeon
Cocky but expected for this type of surgeon. Did not have great experience as I felt he was more concerned with outcome of his patient not dying being on his record than admitting things weren’t going well.

Risks and expectation were well communicated. Unexpected complications were taken in stride without any further problems, and followup continues as expected. Great job, doc!

Dr. Arneson gave me a sense of ease and confidence that the care of my mothers serious condition was in the hands of the right surgeon. His commitment, faith & decision to not give up on my mother late that Friday evening of a holiday weekend is something we will never forget. My mother was given a second chance at life by Dr. Arneson!

Dr. Arneson performed surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm and replaced the aortic valve on my mother. He was top notch! She was a complicated case and he didn’t give up on her! Our family is forever grateful to him for his knowledge, skill and patience to see her safely through surgery! We would recommend him to anyone!

Beware!! A great salesman for his procedures, does not follow through nor listen to any input. He is god, but I choose a different God. So, do your homework, ask questions and please, be so careful. I would not want anyone to go through what we have, not even taking tremendous expense into consideration.
