Dr. Marylinn Markarian, MD

This Dr is awful. She put in my sons chart he is a poly substance abuser. Meanwhile he had clean bloodwork, he has a history of mental health issues and she wrote in his chart he needs a drug rehab. No psychiatrist at nuvance will see him because of what she wrote in his chart ! She isn’t a Dr who cares she’s on a power trip!

She's the worst. Should not be working in the mental health field at all. If I could, I'd give her zero stars.

She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I feel very comfortable seeing her

Sadly Dr. Cruz who was amazing, has left on a "medical leave". I understood that and was looking forward to meeting Marylinn Markarian. She was absolutely horrible by phone, and to the point that I am leaving the office to find a new doctor.

Dr. Markarian is the worst doctor I have ever met. She has no concern for the needs of the patient. She does not pay attention to what you say and she keeps inaccurate records. On two separate occasions, she misdiagnosed my wife, despite the fact that it would have all been avoided if she had taken three seconds to look at my wife's records. She speaks down to patients, family members, nurses, aides, custodians, food service workers. This woman is unsafe and dangerous for her patients.

If I could give zero stars I would. The worst medical professional I have ever encountered in my entire life. When I was at the lowest point in my life, she was rude, short, impatient and condescending. When I had the audacity to disagree with her in a respectful way, she promptly called CPS on me as retribution when my child is the most well cared for individual I know. She exudes an aura of misery and projects it on her patients. Please, for the sake of your own mental health avoid this woman!

To say she was rude is an understatement. She has no concern for the needs of the patient. Disagreeing with her is not an option and will likely get you told to leave. If you have enough neurons to have thoughts regarding your own course of treatment and the direction you want it to go, you better hope it is on the same path she has planned for you. She is a close-minded, self-centered antagonist that should not be allowed to work with the general population.

Dr. Markarian was very helpful and went into my treatment with an open mind and lots of suggestions. She listened to my issues before rushing to prescribe, and as a result I've been very happy with the results.

She does not care one bit about your well being or mental state. She just wants to prescribe you something to get you out of her office. She does not take the extra step to care and help her patients. She does not make the thorough process to diagnose and treat a certain problem. DO NOT GO TO HER IF YOU NEED PSYCHIATRIC HELP.

I felt uncomfortable, she asks a lot of questions and in the end, didn't help. Scheduling with her was easy, but I don't think the staff and the Dr. communicate well, clearly the doctor did not want to see me, and felt unprepared for my visit. If you are looking for a caring psychiatrist that is helpful, look elsewhere.
