Made referral to oncology without telling me
She misinterpreted a test result and referred me to oncology. I appreciate due diligence by doctors, but there were two problems:1) She didn't speak to me first to inform me about the referral or give me a heads up. It's fine to get referred but the first I heard of the referral was from the specialist's office.2) The oncology doctor was confused because the test result I received should not have triggered an appointment with them. I was essentially wasting their valuable time.

Recently I ran out of blood pressure medicine. Fortunately it is the same brand and dose my husband takes. After several weeks of my pharmacist requesting the refill, I contacted Dr. Beko to find out what the delay was. Apparently, she would not refill until I came in to see her. It would have been nice to have been notified of that a few weeks prior before i ran out of other medications. I feel this is unethical.

Terrible staff, terrible doctor! Received an anonymous call today about a prescription refill, from a so-called nurse who refused to provide a name. First red flag. Then, told that my diabetes medication wouldn't be refilled until I saw the doctor. Second red flag. Finally, I can't see the the doctor for a week. Why not tell me any of this before the prescription is out??? This isn't a narcotic, it regulates blood sugar. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE excuse for healthcare professionals.

I missed my appointment and came in the wrong day. Scripps was able to squeeze my appointment in. Most doctors would be rushed, but Dr. Beko made me feel relaxed and comfortable while talking about different birth control options. She took her time answering all of my questions. It was a really positive experience, and I never want to switch doctors!
