Very Arrogant and Condescending
I went to Dr. Tarsa when I was pregnant with my first child. Due to previous medical conditions, I was worried about this pregnancy and knew I would need close monitoring. She acted like I was supposed to know the answers to the questions I had, which were not common knowledge. She was very condescending and was not responsive to my husband's questions. In fact, she kinda treated him like he was an idiot. She didn't seem to want to answer questions and basically always had one foot out the door. When I asked about my delivery options, she basically told me a c-section was out of the question because of all of the risks. When I went to be induced, I had health issues that inevitably led to a c-section. I stressed with the doctor what Dr. Tarsa had said, and she said that a c-section would be fine and while there are risks they would do there best to be efficient. So it seems like she was just trying to push her views on me, which I am not happy about. I would not recommend her.

I came to Dr Tarsa at 24 weeks pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy after my former OB had completely terrified me. Dr Tarsa was so knowledgeable and reassuring and made me feel like I was in the absolute best hands. I saw her weekly and have only good things to say about her. She was kind and smart and made sure my baby was born healthy. I cannot recommend her enough!

Dr Tarsa is very experienced and knowledgeable. When it comes to high risk pregnancy, everyone at UCSD respect her.

Didn’t listen very well didn’t answer my husband and my questions was very forceful about her opinion and I wouldn’t recommend her.
