Dr. Maryam Ghavami-Maibodi, MD

This is the most incredible pediatrician I've come across! So blessed to have found her for my kids. She is super thorough, attentive, sweet, knowledgeable and doesn't force you to do things you don't want to do like other doctors. She gives you options, makes you knowledgeable, and includes you in your children's diagnosis and treatment. We're going through something very unique, and she won't quit until she solves things. Just an incredible human and doctor. I thank God for finding her!

Dr. Ghavami is the best of the best! She was able to identify a rare and new condition with my child, and by being so on top of her field, was able to run the right labs and saved my child’s life. Her gentle yet confident approach is admirable. She is very relatable with adults and patients. My child felt very worried before seeing her and was quickly put at ease after she kept my child in the loop of what’s going on and how there is a solution! Her thorough examination and follow through is one of a kind. He went above and beyond, and does so with all of her patients. In a nutshell she is analytical, ethical, friendly, investigative, knowledgeable, nurturing, VERY observant, passionate, reassuring, trustworthy, and wise. While she was evaluating my child she even discovered a new development that occurred while we where there. She’s the best that there is!

We feel so lucky to have Dr. Ghavami as our pediatrician. She is smart, dedicated, kind and finds ways in which to go the extra mile to take care of our children. In particular, we love the ways in which she gets our kids to participate in the exam and they actually look forward to their visits! I always feel my concerns are heard.

Her answers to my questions were good and I felt informed about some of my concerns other than the vaccine information. I felt pressured about giving my child some vaccines I just can't do. She never asked me about why I didn't want to give them to my child. just said they cant go to school, they are at risk, and they can die. I know this is a controversial topic, but I do have a right to these things and it should be respected.

Dr. Ghavami is not genuine, nor natural at talking with small children. With me she was presumptuous and self righteous. She (very erroneously) assumed I was an idiot and just started spouting information from a child safety manual. I will not be taking my children back to her for there next check up.
