Dr. Mary Young, MD

Welcoming. Interested -- listens closely. Asked good questions. Confirmed her understanding. Gave clear suggestions and recommendations.

I gave her a list of medications that need to be refilled, after changing from another doc. She did, but got THREE of my meds instructions wrong! After two weeks of trying to contact her by phone, by message at front desk, by letter hand delivered to office, I am def ready to get another doctor. Her accuracy and her lack of communication with me after three attempts to contact her result in me contacting the patient advocate. Not good.

Dr. Young expressed genuine appreciation for the history/context per the reason for my visit. She was genuinely present and empathetic to my health concern, and referenced an appropriate experience from her own life to demonstrate this empathy. I may have been out of line to attempt to be humorous (darkly so) with respect to the current political strife and the discontent I feel with the current president. As a professional who stayed on task, she seemed to not acknowledge my comment (it was out of context). That said, I hope she votes for the older, more mature guy and his "dialed-in" running mate.

abrubt and arrogant. No bedside manner. Came in with inaccurate info about me and then went on the defensive. Had clearly not looked at my record before opening the door. My doc left Kaiser and I have to find a new one. Won’t be her. You can definitely do better.

Very helpful during my urgent appointment with throat/headache issues.

Dr. Young is rude, provides horrible customer service and is a poor communicator. She doesn't take the time to understand her patients. She takes the "care" out of healthcare.

Very helpful. I have Celiac Disease and was treated for a flare up of Canker .

Got a pap and she didn’t even swab enough to get sufficient test results. Now I have to go through the horrible process all over again.

I was so impressed of how she listened to me she was very concerned i have never felt like my Dr"s listened to me like she made me feel, like i had finally found someone to listen to my,concern .She got on top of it. thank you.
