Excellent! Dr. Wendt called promptly on time, she heard everything I had to say, she called in the prescriptions I needed, asked if she could help with anything else and wished me well on my way. Lovely person to interact with, clearly educated.

Definitely recommend! I had an excellence consult with Dr Mary Clifton Wendt via WebMD. While on vacation in Arizona, I suffered a non-emergency intestinal situation with which I was familiar and knew that I needed some antibiotics to combat the condition. She listened to my symptoms, a brief review of previous experiences, and reviewed my allergies before prescribing medication to a local pharmacy. I found her to be a pleasure to work with.

Awful experience. Consulted Dr Wendt via Teladoc and like many reviews here she kept interrupting me, was condescending, and very rude. I was surprised at the treatment she recommended and asked for clarification and she wouldn’t answer the questions. Note that she give me a treatment before even trying to explain what the cause could be. Definitely going to complain to Teladoc about this Doctor and very surprised how she still works for them despite so many bad reviews. She ruined my evening.

If I could leave half a star, I would. She is very rude and condescending and would not , under any circumstance, prescribe an antibiotic that would help me as I had a raging sinus infection and could barely speak . She is so rude... I would hate to see her in person. I am also in the medical field and know what works for me. She offered some internet advice and wasted my time. What an unfortunate interaction with this person. ...

Like a lot of the other comments here, I had a consultation with Mary Wendt through teladoc. I've had eustachian tube clogs throughout my life, last time more than 10 years ago. Told her the only thing thing that clears it up when it happens is antibiotics. She was dismissive, told me I didn't qualify, take some decongestants wait a week. Didn't even listen to me when I said I've already been dealing with it for a week. She was also attempting to eat during the consultation. Rude.

Talked w/her via Teladoc. EXTREMELY RUDE and condescending. Constantly interrupted me, wouldn't let me speak. Tried to prescribe a medication that is not compatible with breastfeeding. I told her I wanted to look it up to make sure it was okay to take, she interrupted me to say it was. I looked it up and lo and behold it was NOT. Read the info verbatim that said why it wasn't, she still argued, then HUNG UP ON ME and called in the prescription anyways. AVOID THIS DOCTOR.

Called using the MDLive system. Explained my symptoms and the pain I was in and was told by her that I needed to wait 2 weeks before I could be prescribed anti-biotics. Very dismissive and threatened to hang up on me instead of listening and understanding that I was already doing all the things she said I should do. Kept quoting the CDC as if general recommendations fit my specific issues. Avoid at all costs.

Part of MD-Live. Was very dismissive of my symptoms. Mary Wendt asked if I had a fever. Told her I had a fever overnight. I offered to take my current temp, but she immediately said it would not change her opinion of her diagnosis. She became dismissive and offered alternative therapy. I asked her diagnosis and guideline for determining severity of symptoms--she recommended I consult the World Health Organization on line. Unfortunate service. Do not recommend.
