This was my first time visiting with Dr. Spolyar, I left feeling very disappointed and defeated. I've never had a doctor make me feel so rushed and unheard. She asked me almost no questions, established no history, and left absolutely no room for me to speak. I was able to get in one of my questions and she didn't seem interested in exploring my concern. She just kind of told me she couldn't give a diagnosis and recommended me a treatment plan based on one question. She spoke very quickly and was in the room for a total of 5 minutes tops.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Spolyar for several years now and have always found her thorough and caring. She has gone out of her way to be helpful to us and is understanding of our personal preferences.

I have visited Dr. Spolyar several times and always had a good experience. She always took time to explain my conditions and answer the questions I had. She explained step by step the procedures before and during them. I even referred my best friend and her husband to her and they also had good experiences with her.

What a terrible appointment! It started with them not having my daughter on the schedule, which she had an appointment, so then we had to sit and wait to get in. Then the Dr. came in and talked SO fast and practically ran out of the room. I'd say she was in there for MAYBE 2 minutes max. I didn't get any of my questions answered, she just assumed we were there for just acne med refills and asked no questions. There wasn't even a moment for me to interrupt and as a question. Then when I stated that was really fast I didn't get to ask a single question, the nurse assistant said, well, you can come back in 8-12 weeks and meet with the PA. I took time off work, I'm paying money for my daughter to get care from a dermatologist, and she had zero concern for my daughter or what questions I might have. I don't usually post reviews, but this was ridiculous. Insurance/myself probably paid her $200 for 2 minutes and no questions answered. We will NOT be going back.

Zero bedside manner. The first time I saw her, she had an intern with her. She discussed me with the intern as if I were not there. The second time I saw her, she dismissed one my questions as “no big deal “ and did not offer a suggestion or plan to fix the issue.

Dr. Spolyar has been excellent. She is extremely knowledgeable, attentive and caring. Even though you know she is extremely busy, you walk away feeling like you are the only patient she has that day.
