Dr. Koenig seems more concerned about her research papers for grant money than patient care. 5 different physical therapist indicated that it wasn't a good idea for the patient to be admitted into the hospital for an extended amount of time. So she kept rotating out to new ones to get what she wanted forcing admission against the will of the parents, even dropping the home healthcare that was essential for helping the patient at the house. She made claims we'll get her walking within a month and that her initial diagnoses was incorrect even though the gene results proves the diagnosis. We told her the child wouldn't mentally be able to handle the hospital for an extended amount of time and she disagreed. Then after a month she was released and gave us the excuse we told her for reasons not to be admitted. Now that she is back we have the extended process of setting home healthcare back up and relying on friends/family to cover gaps. I wouldn't recommend this doctor.

Completely dismissed our child because our child is not a clear cut black and white easy case. Formed an opinion about our child before she even had an interaction. Degraded doctors at other hospitals as inferior to her. Poor bedside manner. Unprofessional. Lied about reading through our child's specific medical records.
