Dr. Mary Hammack, MD

Dr. Hammack is highly intelligent (Summa grad Texas A&M, etc.). Treating my many medical conditions, she has expert & up-to-date knowledge of every one, different though they may be. Her examinations are thorough, and she asks targeted questions from which she makes her diagnoses. Prescriptions she writes are ALWAYS spot on. Her manner is soft and caring, and I always know I am in the BEST hands. She is an incredible doctor and person, and I am honored to be in her care.

I had an awesome visit with Dr. Hammack. I came in to see her because of high BP, and BS. Dr. examine me thoroughly and answered all my questions. Dr. Hammack has been my dr for several years. She is not only my doctor, but she also sees my two daughters and my son-in-law. My mother is the one who discovered this great dr., my mother, just loved her as we all do.

I have used Dr. Hammack since 2008 and have the highest respect for her as a medical doctor and human being. She leaves no stone unturned to get to the bottom of any health issue I have. It took me a while to understand why there was a longer than usual wait in the office to get called back. The reason is that she shows compassion and understanding for every patient of hers. I know that when my turn comes to be called to the exam room that she will spend all the time she needs with me. If you want a doctor that really and truly cares, there is none finer than Dr. Hammack. Thank you, Dr. Hammack, for always watching my back.

Dr Hammack''s office is one of the most helpful I have ever visited. I have gone to some that were ridiculously unorganized and that their employee's seem to not like each other and they all treated you like you were a nuisance. I have gone to Dr. Hammack for many years and have never had a bad experience there. I believe her staff is a reflection of the wonderful caring Doctors that work their especially Dr. Hammack. Dr. Hammack takes the time to address any issues a patient has. For the most part she tries to stay on schedule but she has never rushed me. I consider myself privileged to get to see her and never mind waiting for her if I need to.

Annual check up

I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Hammack since 2010. Dr. Hammack is extremely thorough and takes her valuable time to answer any questions that you might have. She has been of great help to me. I am in awe of her abilities. Due to my A+ service with Dr. Hammack, my whole family now are patients. I highly recommend Dr. Hammack. She goes above and beyond!

Dr Hammack is adequate as a doctor. If she were amazing, I would endure poor service from her office, but as it stands, her office staff is reason enough to steer clear of this practice. It is routine to wait for 30 or more minutes past your appointment time before being seen--even when your appointment is the first one of the morning! This is true whether it is a lab appointment or an exam with the doctor. In my most recent incident, a <5min appointment to receive an immunization had me waiting to see the nurse for 45min. My inquiry at the front desk, was met with irritation as though I had disturbed them unnecessarily. I eventually got an apology for the wait before returning to the waiting area and elapsing an additional 15min before being called to complete the appointment. I wouldn't be irritated to the point of writing this review if it weren't for the fact that this is routine for this office. They might want to think more about customer service.

I came in for a full physical, I had confirmed that with the front desk. But I end up with a sports physical for a child. She said that you have to be established before a real physical can take place. Not correct..I know my coverage. I think she just didn't like me for some reason.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hammack for 7 years. She is an excellent doctor who takes her time to address my medical concerns. She is a great listener and offers necessary solutions that benefit my health and well being. She is an asset to Plano Presbyterian Hospital and a trusted physician to me.

Very good at listening as well as explaining things to me. I never feel rushed and she always finds time to answer all questions I might have. Very thorough.

I have multiple medical problems and Dr. Hammack is the only Doctor I have ever been to that walks in the room and stays until she has addressed every issue you have concerns with. She listens but also asks the right questions so that she can actually address your problems. I have walked out of her office at 7 pm on multiple occasions and apparently this is standard practice for her. She is dedicated to her patients and it shows. You don't often see physicians that are in it to help people.
