Dr. Mary Geldernick, MD

I was going to Dr. Geldernick's practice for a couple of years and then I got pregent and MANY women strongly suggested I consider going to another doctor. During the years I did go to Dr. Geldernick's practice I only really saw the nurse practitioner, Kelly. I absolutely LOVE Kelly and think the world of her. She is caring, listens, is responsive, and gave me her personal number (at the beginning of my pregnancy I was having complications) in case anything happened. I wish Kelly would work somewhere better. The wait at the office was always long and once I did start seeing Geldernick I quickly realized why so many people suggested to find a different doctor. She is very quick, rushed, didn't really listen to my questions/concerns, I always felt like she would jump the gun on diagnosis/not be thorough is her investigation or thoughtful in her decisions of what was wrong, quick to suggest/push onto me the "easy" route of prescriptions or very radical solutions, and didn't cover all her

Dr. Geldernick was very friendly and took the time listen to the issues I've been experiencing. She explained several options and gave her recommendations. Her nurse was very patient. Very good experience with her office.

Dr. Geldernick and her entire staff has been nothing but kind and helpful throughout this whole process. It was very nice to see my baby for the first time with Michelle, she was very thorough with her explanation of what we were looking at on the screen.

I waited one hour in the lobby after arriving 10 minutes early. The nurse finally put me in a room and had me put on the gown, where I waited another 30 minutes! I finally put my clothes back on and told the receptionist I had to leave. They were very unapologetic and really had the attitude that they could care less that a new patient left after an hour and a half wait. Dr. Geldernick is very unprofessional.

My husband and I just moved to the area, when I found out I was pregnant with our "miracle baby" at age 42. I found Dr. Geldernick online after searching frantically for a ob/gyn. I couldn't be happier. She was not only professional, but never made us feel rushed and she genuinely cares about your well being. I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Geldernick and look forward to having her as my doctor during the most important time of my life.

I was reschuduled twice in one day. Seems like a very disorganized office. When I finally did get to see her she was an hour behind. she was very quick and we seemed like more of a bother to her than a new maternity patient. I left in tears. Not what I was expecting from my first visit. I was looking forward to it for weeks and it was a disaster.

She was dismissive, insensitive and rude. Her exam was painful. I have never had a painful exam. I bled for 24 hours. After talking with medical colleagues, we have determined that I experienced a provider assault. She ignored a common gyn issue that I requested treatment for. Her exact words, “there is nothing I can prescribe for you.” I work in gyn, this was a lie. I told her what Ive used in the past, she refused to help. As a healthcare provider, I suggest going elsewhere for your care.

Where do I start? I've been seeing Mary since I was 18 years old. She delivered my first son and will deliver my second at the end of this year. She has always been so tentative with issues I've had--from choosing the right birth control, helping me through PMDD, a lump in my breast which led to a lumpectomy (especially the care, guidance and advice) and now my second pregnancy. Dr. Geldernick has delivered two of my children. She is very caring and easy to talk to. Dr. Geldernick has a genuine concern for her patients and provides very good comprehensive care.

Dr. Geldernick allows her personal dog into the room with you. I thought it was odd that a dog was allowed to stay in the office during the day but going into the exam room (before my physical exam) was disgusting. I also thought my baby was in a posterior position. I asked her and she felt of my stomach and said the baby was not in that position. She was on vacation during my delivery (which I am thankful for) and guess what...baby was in a posterior position which made for a difficult delivery

Dr. Geldernick is a very helpful and knowledgable Doctor. She always does what is best for her patients. She knows her patients very well and likes to makes them feel comfortable and well taken care of.

I highly recommend Dr Geldernick to everyone. I researched several doctors for OBGYN as I was pregnant with my first child. I'm so glad we went with her!
