Physician was proficient but not exemplary. Read my lab results to me verbatim but made only a superficial attempt to convey the meaning/significance of the results even after specific questions were asked. I have previously become spoiled by the Schmidt Heart Institute at CS which Is crazy over the top In physician, patient communication. I felt like I was on a production line in a factory.

Dr El-Masry is always attentive and answers questions but also ask probing questions seeking information

The doctor is kind, however, each time I come it seems like there is a different message about my care. I feel that my condition is not that important or serious. I feel rushed and leave feeling not sure why I'm coming in at all.

Explanation of reason for recommended treatment was way too high level. When asked for more specific explanation she still was not able to go into detail, so told me she would get back to me with more specifics, but then did not. When I send questions in the portal, she partially answers.

Dr. El Masry is excellent. She is compassionate, takes her time, thorough, great communicator and provides good recommendations for other specialists.

I'm pretty sure I have filled out a survey in the past in regards to Dr. El-Masry. I can't say enough about her. Her compassion and patience is priceless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Thank you for this.

Disgusting so many doctors these days are as uncaring and lacking in professional kindness as this doctor.She’s part of the Cedars Sinai medical system. My first appointment, she was brusque because according to the system, I’d been late. I had not, but the Cedars system had assigned me two different check-in times.My next meeting went worse; images had been ordered, I had done everything correctly-yet they failed to obtain my images.Showed up to my next appointment early, was kept waiting 45 minutes while her she and her staff bumbled around unable to locate my images, and ultimately, she admitted she had dropped the ball when no images were sent over - and would do her best to make sure things were handled correctly.After making a 3rd appointment to have an internal radiologist look at my images, and my urgent pleading not to call me with news- she did the opposite, went back on her word, abruptly shared the diagnosis, and ended her call.Horrible experience.
