Dishonest doctor
I had a uterine artery embolization for adenomyosis 3 years ago. I was considering a traditional myomectomy as an alternative to this procedure. I wished to preserve my fertility and made this clear to Dr. Costantino. She encouraged me to have the UAE surgery and did not warn me of the possibility that this procedure might significantly impact my fertility. Three years later, I have not been able to conceive (even with assisted reproductive techniques) and my uterine lining is too thin for an embryo to implant. I recommend that anyone considering the UAE (or UFE) surgery who wishes to preserve their fertility NOT have this procedure done. A myomectomy is a safer option. I wish Dr. Costantino had been honest enough to share this information with me.

Great Doctor with Wonderful Staff
My husband went to the Clinic for 3 different Vascular surgeries in his legs. Mary was our Doctor. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She spent time with us and talked about every aspect of his 3 surgeries. She Answered all of our questions and never was in a hurry to go. She did an Awesome Job, and his legs are doing very well. She was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable about the surgeries. Her staff was Great! They were so friendly and nice and helped us whenever they could. it was a Wonderful experience and I couldn't recommend her and her staff more highly!

Dr. Constantino is the most caring, perhaps ONLY caring, physician we have encountered through my daughter's many medical emergencies Her incredible medical skills and knowledge are readily accessible to her patients. She and Dr. Corbin have reached out to other experts in order to answer every question and competently handle any situation. Our entire family thanks her for helping us through Genifer Ailstock's illness. They both called the ER in Columbia, Missouri to try to get help for Genifer. They call just out of concern. Unheard of. Dr. Corbin even met my daughter on her holiday day off. Dr. Constantino took time on her Sunday to call to check on Genifer. Who does that? After years of disappointment in our healthcare system, we have been encouraged by Dr. Constantino. Only those who are caregivers for their families and friends fully understand how great it is for us to finally find extraordiinaly friends in our doctors.

I was referred to rule our vascular contributions to my leg lymphedema. Dr. Costantino was very thorough and provided excellent patient education at every step along the way. When she unexpectedly found kidney swelling on my CT scan she advocated to get me seen quickly by a urologist (even while out of the country) and reviewed my nuclear medicine test and called with the results before I ever heard back from the urologist. She was very understanding and empathetic about my struggles with this chronic disease and I so much appreciated having her care! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

- Doctor talks poorly about staff; openly blamed them directly to me for mistakes - Doctor was unprepared for multiple visits; recommended tests already been done and then “remembered” when reminded and again, blamed staff - Doctor wasn’t hygienic. Used gloves to rifle through cabinets and drawers and then performed procedures & exams - Doctor reviewed procedure that would be done with me before; drew pictures and explained (positive). On day of, did an entirely different procedure - likely because she forgot the plan. No pre-op done by nurses or post-op.

Dr. Constantino is a god-send. I was referred to her and blown away when she spent an hour talking to me about my options and answering questions. I was even more impressed when she reached out to speak directly with my surgeon (different procedure) so they could determine the best timing for me to have these two procedures done. Does that ever happen these days?! I was well cared for the entire time, treated with the utmost respect, and was able to follow up with both Dr. Constantino and Pam the PA any time, day or night, after I went home. Time will tell if this is a permanent fix for my issue, but I would go back to Dr. Constantino 10/10 times. What a gem!

I have advised the clinic that sent me here to not refer anyone else. It was a creepy experience overall and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Unprofessional attitude. Slack Covid safety. Kept pulling her ill fitting mask down which wasn’t a fresh one. Did not use fresh gloves. Did not complete the treatment as she said. Was not thorough with scattered attention and not finishing any sentences. and treated me in a demeaning dismissive manor. Talked through the entire second appointment without doing anything and I’m still receiving bills months later for treatment that I didn’t receive.

I have NEVER been treated so unprofessional in my entire life. I would high suggest no one goes to this doctor ( Mary Contantino) or her office at Advanced Vascular in Tigard I wasted a lot of money and time with no medical help or plan. I cannot tell you enough to Stay Away!

Dr. Costantino is, hands down, the most patient, compassionate, and informative MD I’ve ever been involved with. She listens and takes the time to answer any questions you might have. She’s proactive and is ready with a game plan. I look forward to working with her in addressing my medical issues.

I got a procedure done by her and I trusted her as my doctor referred me to her. But after a year later I still have the same issue, so the problem never got resolved. And since then I have been trying to call their office to speak with someone about it. I have left several VM and no one ever calls me back. I would never refer anyone to this lady and I hope people read this review and decide to do the same before you spend thousands on a procedure that did absolutely NOTHING. Do not go to this doctor, and what’s ever worse they don’t answer their phones and never return phone calls.

Dr. Costantino is a true stand-out in medicine. By way of her acumen and great technical skill, she radically changed my life for the better after a single trip to her operating room (with excellent pre and post-op care, too). A delightful and compassionate doctor, she is as conscientious and astute as she is kind. A rare physician, indeed. I would recommend her all day, every day.

Dr. Costantino is not only skilled and knowledgeable but exceeds any medical doctor's level of compassion and kindness that I've seen in my medical journey through cancer these last two years. Her support team who answer phone calls to schedule are friendly and quick to help.
