Dr. Marvin Spann, MD

Went to Dr Span to replace existing implants. Left side was a simple replacement and turned out great. He said right side wasn’t sitting correctly and he had to “tack down” the pocket to hold implant in place. Well, after 4 years of waiting for the implant to settle, right implant still looks like a round dot stuck to my chest. The pocket is still so tight around the implant it looks awful and hardly moves which can be painful at times. He did not have the skills or knowledge of how to correct the issue properly and now I will have to get the right side fixed because it doesn’t look at all natural like the left side. I will not be going back to Dr Spann and do not recommend him for breast implant surgery.

I had my implants removed by Dr Spann. He was courteous.. Very informative letting me know what was going to happen before and after.. the procedure how that was going to be done . never had to wait in his office longer than 10 minutes after my appointment time.. Staff was courteous They always returned my calls. I want them back in scheduled appt with Dr Spann.

Dr Spann is arrogant and rude. I feel sorry for his staff seeing him in action day after day. He had a very high opinion of himself, but I would never recommend him.

TOTALLY MANGLED MY BREASTS......Frankenstein stitches, globular 'dog ear' pieces of flesh hanging down under my arms, four actual holes in and around my breasts and managed to reset one nipple 1 inch below the other. this man has no business putting his hands on anyone's breasts. Has been sued several times and had to actually settle in the court. what a piece of work.

Dr.Marvin Spann is very courteous. Service has been excellent. Staff also is very patient and friendly. He always makes you feel important. Many time going thru cancer treatment, surgery, radiation,and all that goes with breast cancer. I can truly say there were days when I wanted to cry, but his spirit always lifts mind He would always say something funny or come in singing. He's a very professional doctor...

I had to have a double mastectomy due to breast cancer and I went to Dr Spann for nipple reconstruction he has HORRIBLE bedside manners. His surgery scheduler DOES NOT return my calls. They now are telling me I need to pay $100 office visit to set up another surgery. Sadly I can't find another plastic surgeon that does nipple reconstruction, they all do the nipple tattooing.
