Horrific bed-side manner
The experience with this provider was traumatic and life changing in the worst way. I pray that nobody else has to encounter such lack of trust, compassion, empathy, and unprofessional conduct at his hands.

Dr Worrall is great, but the clinic steadily declined at Truhlsen Eye during the 2 years I saw him. Great result with my retinal detachment repair - although my case scheduled at 5 pm and delayed past 1 am due to higher priority cases is not acceptable.

I met Dr Worrall in December 2017 when my left retina detached and I went blind in that eye on Christmas day. I was able to get into his clinic the next day, he was very honest with me about my chances of seeing again, either normally or at all. He was very comforting in the hospital to me before the surgery. I arrive at each followup visit with a few questions, about my vision progress when I can not find the answers on the internet which he answers patiently. I had a second surgery on the left eye to remove a pucker in the retina. I see much better now. Remember Dr. Worrall is one of the top retina doctors in the world, he does everything he can to repair your eyes, but a patient has to realize some things don't go back together like the way God made you, and also never forget to have gratitude no matter the out come. Gratitude for even the smallest sight again to see your loved one's face through even a blur is a miracle. My Husband comes to my dr. visits as a second pair of ears.

I am very satisfied with the surgeries performed by Dr. Worrall. He is very knowledgeable and both retina detachment surgeries were a success. Unfortunately one of my eyes was not able to regain much sight because of how long it was detached but it has nothing to do with Dr. Worrall. Both were reattached and I am very happy with the outcome. He is always very courteous and lets you know everything about your condition and treatment. He has a very friendly staff and he is easy to talk to. Very down to earth and laid back. I would recommend him to anyone with eye problems.

Dr. Worrall recently changed eye groups. I felt he was sometimes overbooked at Retina Ctr. in Tucson. I will have my first appt. end of March in his new location. I have been with him for 15 years with excellent results.

Avoid for surgery. I had 4 surgeries done. 2 retina detachments and eye clean-ups. Worrall did not command his surgical team. Anesthesiologist subjected twighlight sleep and left during surgery. I came out of anesthesia while Worrall was using a Sapphire tipped lazer in my eye. Told him how much it was hurting. He told me to lie still he couldn’t quit yet. Doctors’ reports did not match what happened. My eye is blind. Report said only a small blade was used and I was fine. Came to in recovery
