He was my Dr & I told him I had all the signs of Cushing’s and he said “no, you don’t have Cushing’s, you just need to lose weight” 17 years later when my health is deteriorated, I found a specialist in LA and after much testing I have not only been diagnosed with a pituitary tumor causing Cushing’s, & its so progressed, it has ruined my body and my health. My next dr requested my previous labs from Dr wenthe & diagnosed me with gout, liver disease & pre diabetes using the same labs that Dr wenthe said were all normal. My mom was his patient & he told her she was just having allergies & told her that her breast cancer didn’t return, & when we said we were going to her oncologist he said “well if that will make you feel better” And the oncologist immediately sent her to the hospital for thoracentesis and they pulled 1.5 liters of fluid out and her cancer had returned and had progressed so far in the year that he told her it was just allergies, that she ended up hospitalized for 5 wks

I seldom do reviews, but I am so frustrated with Dr. Wenthe's staff, it triggered this review. Sandra Lee, the physician's assistant, who I assume works for Dr. Wenthe, only works there 1 day per week. I have called numerous times to find out the urgency of my condition, but was told nobody can fill in for Sandra Lee while she is not working her 1 day per week job! How can a business operate like that involved with people's health???

Dr. Wenthe is a very caring and knowledgeable physician!! He really listens and cares about his patients. My husband and I recommend him highly. We are very happy to have him as our doctor.

Dr Wenthe is the best Doctor at Northwest medical Group. He listens to your needs and prescribe you exactly what you need. He is friendly and very easy to work with. I saw him today for cough medication and he gave me Promethazine-Codeine Syrup 4 times daily usage and Benzonatate Capsules. save your self some time and money. Go With the winner Dr Wenthe you get well in a hurry. Avoid other nonsense doctors.

My daughter was seen by Dr. Wenthe at an Urgent Care on a Saturday near closing time. She was complaining of nausea, stomach pains and constipation. He prodded her abdomen, proscribed a laxative and sent her on her way. No tests, no labs, just shuffled her out the door.. The following morning the pain had increased, so I took her to CCMC Emergency Room. 7 days and 2 surgeries later she's on the road to recovery. Had we listened to him, she may well have died.

Dr. Wenthe is a good doctor, but is slow to responding to messages even for urgent messages regarding prescription modifications. The receptionist office doesn't do a good job on following up with the doctor or his assistant, referrals take weeks and no one calls you back within 24-48 as stated in their voicemail. My referral request has been pending for over a month with his office.

Dr. Wenthe and Sandra Lee NP,and staff are very conscious and polite. I detoxed and did not understand what was happening to my body. Dr. Wenthe took time to explain why I felt the way I did and with Sandra Lee has made sure even a year later, that my health issues are resolved.
